Stress-related anxiety is actually a psychological illness that many people suffer from in today's society. Stress anxiety is a severe psychological illness caused by some reason. It is actually a kind of psychological anxiety caused by some reason. This psychological illness is also often related to the social environment and some external factors. Some people will react to the stimulus within a few minutes and most anxiety behaviors are different and blind. Stress-related anxiety treatment 1. Psychotherapy In the early stages of PTSD, the principles and techniques of crisis intervention are mainly used, focusing on providing support to help patients improve their psychological coping skills and express and vent related emotions. Timely treatment is of great significance to a good prognosis. In the psychotherapy of chronic and late-onset PTSD, in addition to special psychotherapy techniques, it is very important to strive for the maximum social and psychological support for patients. The understanding of family members and colleagues can provide patients with the greatest psychological space. Psychological treatments for PTSD can be divided into three main categories: Anxiety management: Teach patients various techniques to better cope with PTSD symptoms. The main techniques include: relaxation training (systematic muscle relaxation), breathing training (learning slow abdominal breathing), positive thinking (replacing negative thoughts with positive ones), self-confidence training (learning to express feelings, opinions and wishes), and thought termination (silently saying "stop" to eliminate painful thoughts); Cognitive therapy: helps patients improve their mood and function by changing various irrational assumptions and beliefs. For example, a considerable proportion of survivors of traumatic events have strong self-blame: rape victims may blame themselves for not being careful enough, and disaster survivors may feel that they have not done their best and are responsible for the casualties of their relatives and friends; Exposure therapy: Exposure is the process of exposing the patient to specific situations, people, objects, memories, or emotions associated with the trauma. Exposure can be achieved through imagination or by actually entering into the situation, such as getting in a car or driving again after a car accident. Repeated exposure can make the patient realize that the place he/she fears and avoids is no longer dangerous. If the patient can persist long enough without escaping, the fear will gradually subside. 2. Drug treatment Medication is the most common treatment option for all stages of PTSD. Depending on the patient's symptoms, the selected drugs include: antidepressants, antianxiety agents, anticonvulsants, lithium salts, etc. Antipsychotic drugs are generally not recommended unless the patient is overly excited or violent. There is no consensus on the preferred treatment for PTSD, but it is more certain that psychotherapy combined with drug therapy is more effective. |
