How to treat lymph nodes?

Lymph node disease is a common disease, so when it comes to treatment, it is important to detect it as early as possible and take treatment measures as early as possible. Current treatment methods include the use of antibiotics and supportive therapy. Supportive therapy includes external application of anti-inflammatory powder or the use of some patches.

1. Acute lymphadenitis should first control inflammation to prevent its spread, and use effective and sufficient antibiotics such as penicillin, streptomycin or other broad-spectrum antibiotics. Medication can also be selected based on the drug sensitivity test of the specimen.

2. For tuberculous lymphadenitis, isoniazid 100 mg, 3 times a day, for long-term use for 18-24 months, and streptomycin 0.5 g, intramuscular injection twice a day can be used.

3. Supportive therapy: supplement necessary vitamins and fluids, and regulate electrolyte balance. Local treatment: 1. Apply anti-inflammatory powder externally to reduce inflammation and relieve pain. 2. Apply a patch. If tuberculous lymphadenitis breaks through and forms a fistula, you can apply streptomycin on the basis of removing the sinus tract and scraping the diseased tissue.

3. Blockade therapy: When the abscess has not yet formed, penicillin and procaine solution can be used for peri-lymph node blockade (a skin test is required first). Surgical treatment:1. When purulent lymph nodes are accompanied by oral floor abscess or cellulitis, incision and drainage should be performed to remove pus and necrotic tissue. 2. Single or actively proliferating lymph node tuberculosis that is poorly responsive to anti-tuberculosis drug treatment can be surgically removed and pathologically examined.
