Sleep deprivation at night can cause excessive daytime sleepiness, memory loss, and lack of concentration. Neurological examination showed no abnormal signs. It is generally a benign course, and occasionally diabetic or uremic peripheral neuropathy may be found. Western medicine does not have any good treatment for restless legs syndrome.

Symptomatic treatment with traditional Chinese medicine is currently the most ideal method. In addition, you should also pay attention to the following in your daily life: keep your legs warm, raise the affected limb appropriately when sleeping at night, and exercise appropriately. You can soak your feet in warm water and massage them before going to bed at night. Avoid sitting for long periods of time. Avoid mental stress and anxiety; quit smoking and drinking; control the intake of coffee and carbonated drinks.
