Intravesical chemotherapy is a type of intracavitary chemotherapy. First, a catheter is inserted into the bladder through the urethra, and then the chemotherapy drugs are injected into the bladder. The chemotherapy drugs are retained in the bladder for 1/2 to 2 hours. During the drug retention period, the patient should try to soak all the bladder mucosal epithelium in the chemotherapy drugs. Regular turning over (prone, supine, left or right side lying, and sitting) can be adopted. Once the retention time is up, you should empty your urine immediately and drink plenty of water.
