What does Toxoplasma negative mean?

Toxoplasma is actually a parasite that is mostly transmitted to humans from livestock, such as cats and dogs. It is particularly easy to infect pregnant women. Toxoplasma is also divided into positive and negative, and once Toxoplasma appears in the body, it should be treated in time to prevent more serious consequences. Positive and negative have different meanings, so what does negative Toxoplasma mean?

Toxoplasma Gondii, also known as Toxoplasma gondii, is an intracellular parasite. It parasitizes within cells, flows with the blood, reaches all parts of the body, damages the brain, heart, and fundus, causes a decrease in human immunity, and causes various diseases. It is an obligate intracellular parasite, subclass Coccidia, order Coccidia, family Isospora, genus Toxoplasma.

Toxoplasmosis is an infection of humans and animals caused by the parasite Toxoplasma gondii. Toxoplasma gondii belongs to the smallest and simplest class of parasites called protozoa. Cats and other felines are the definitive hosts of Toxoplasma gondii. It parasitizes in the small intestinal epithelial cells of these animals, forming cysts (many articles call them "cysts", which is not accurate enough) that are excreted in the feces. Other mammals and birds become infected when they eat them, and the cysts develop into cysts in their body tissues. Cyst and cyst are different developmental stages of Toxoplasma gondii. Although Toxoplasma gondii is not "picky", it can only reproduce asexually in the bodies of other animals except the definitive host and cannot spread its offspring to the outside world.

Toxoplasma IGM is negative, which means that there has been no recent infection with Toxoplasma. It is normal and there is no need to worry. IGG is an antibody. If it is positive, it means that you have been infected before and now you have produced antibodies. You are already 2 months pregnant and have not been infected with Toxoplasma gondii recently, so you don't have any high-risk factors in this regard. The IGG test is not very meaningful for you, so I didn't do it.

A negative (-) toxoplasmosis test result means that you are not infected with Toxoplasma gondii and it is a normal test result. This infectious disease can easily cause deformities in the fetus during pregnancy. If the test result is positive, it means there is an infection.
