Will I have a dull stomachache when I'm pregnant?

Becoming a mother is something that many women dream of, but being pregnant for ten months is not that easy. Moreover, conception is also a relatively difficult process. Many women may feel abdominal pain during conception, and they think that abdominal pain is related to conception. In fact, the abdomen will not hurt during conception, and abdominal pain is not closely related to conception. So what are the reactions when conception occurs?

Symptoms of pregnancy in women include:

1. Amenorrhea: The first sign of pregnancy is amenorrhea. For women with regular menstruation, if they have sexual intercourse during this month and their menstruation is delayed by a week, they should suspect whether they are pregnant. Some women will not stop menstruating after becoming pregnant, but there will be changes, such as smaller flow and shorter duration.

2. Easy to get tired and sleepy: After pregnancy, women generally show symptoms of sleepiness, and are easily tired and have no energy to do anything.

3. Vomiting: When the pregnancy is more than 6 weeks, women are prone to vomiting, especially in the morning when they are on an empty stomach. Their sense of smell becomes extremely sensitive, and smelling disgusting odors may cause vomiting. Pregnant women do not need to worry, this is a normal phenomenon.

4. Frequent urination: In the early stages of pregnancy, pregnant women will often want to go to the toilet but cannot urinate completely. Don’t worry, this is because the uterus is slowly growing and pressing on the bladder.

5. Breast pain: Women who have just become pregnant are likely to experience tingling, itching or swelling in their breasts. As the mammary glands grow larger, lump-like masses will develop on the breasts. This is an inevitable part of being a mother.

6. Increased vaginal secretions: Increased vaginal secretions are caused by a sharp increase in hormones and are a normal phenomenon.

7. Hunger: In the early stages of pregnancy, you will always feel very hungry and want to eat. This is normal and there is no need to control your diet. However, make sure that the food you eat is light.

Precautions for conception

1. Don’t get pregnant when you are depressed

Once a person is in a state of anxiety, depression, and heavy mental burden, his or her physiological functions will inevitably change, which will not only affect the quality of sperm or eggs, but also after conception, the emotional stimulation will affect the mother's hormone secretion and affect the growth and development of the fetus. Therefore, when something unpleasant happens in a small family, it is best to use temporary contraception.

2. Don’t get pregnant when you are overly tired

For example, during the honeymoon period and travel, because both men and women are busy running around to arrange the wedding, attend social events, and entertain guests before and after the wedding, they consume too much physical energy, which reduces the quality of sperm and eggs. Frequent sexual intercourse during the honeymoon will also affect the environment for sperm and eggs to implant in the uterus, which is not conducive to eugenics. However, people have irregular daily routines while traveling, and their brains are often in an excited state. Coupled with excessive fatigue and bumpy journeys, these may affect the growth of the fertilized egg or cause the contraction of the pregnant uterus, leading to miscarriage or threatened abortion. Therefore, it is best not to get pregnant when you are overly tired.

3. Do not conceive during illness

Because the disease affects the physical constitution, the quality of the fertilized egg and the intrauterine implantation environment, the medications taken during the illness may have an adverse effect on sperm and eggs, resulting in defects in the newborn. Therefore, when one of the couple is ill, they should wait until they recover and stop taking medication for more than half a year before getting pregnant.

4. Don’t get pregnant at an advanced age

When the man is over 55 years old or the woman is over 35 years old at the time of pregnancy, it is called an advanced-age pregnancy. Close monitoring is required during pregnancy because the incidence of fetal malformations in advanced-age pregnant women is relatively high.
