Red spots appear under the skin of the glans that are neither painful nor itchy. This is often caused by balanitis, a common reproductive infection in men. There are many causes of balanitis, including neglect of personal hygiene and excessive foreskin. In addition, if you do not pay attention to the hygiene of your sexual life, it can often lead to cross-infection, which is a great threat to both male and female health. What is the cause of the red spot under the glans skin that does not itch or hurt? 1. Balanitis caused by excessive foreskin: Generally, the peeling of the glans is caused by excessive foreskin and insufficient cleaning. The unclean substances between the foreskin and the glans, namely smegma, will accumulate and stimulate the local foreskin and mucous membrane to cause inflammation. The peeling of the glans penis is accompanied by the following symptoms: flushing, blistering, red spots, secretions, smegma, itching, odor, etc. The solution to the peeling of the glans is that if the peeling of the glans is mild, you can wash it frequently with clean water. 2. Causes of balanitis: In the early stage of balanitis, peeling and sloughing of the glans can be found, and the foreskin appears edematous and congested. The urethral opening is red, with a red wound surface and erosion, and can develop into a superficial ulcer with purulent secretions. The patient feels itching or burning at the peeling glans, followed by pain. After suppuration, pus may flow out and have a foul smell. In severe cases, there may also be fatigue, low fever, swollen and tender inguinal lymph nodes. We only understand the clinical manifestations of balanitis 1. At the onset of acute superficial balanitis, there is local flushing, redness and swelling of the penis skin, and a burning and itching sensation in the glans. When the foreskin is turned back, one can see that the inner surface of the foreskin and the glans are congested and eroded, with exudate and even bleeding. After secondary infection, small ulcers may be seen with foul-smelling milky white purulent secretions. If it rubs against underwear, it will be painful and patients often have difficulty in moving. There may be swelling and tenderness of the inguinal lymph nodes. 2. Annular ulcerating balanitis: On the glans and foreskin, erythema can be seen, which gradually expands and becomes ring-shaped, and may form a superficial ulcer surface. 3. In case of Candida albicans balanitis, erythema can be seen on the foreskin and glans, with a smooth surface and small blisters. The edges of the erythema are clear, and there are erosions and exudation during acute attacks. 4. Trichomonas balanitis causes papules and erythema on the glans penis, which gradually expand and have clear edges. Small needle-sized blisters can be seen on the erythema, and finally an erosive surface is formed. |
