Throbbing pain on the left side of your head?

Headache is a very common phenomenon in daily life. Although it is common, it cannot be ignored. Some people have intermittent pain on the left side of their head. First of all, they should relax mentally. If it is only temporary, you don’t need to pay attention to it. If it is a persistent migraine, you need to go to the hospital to find out the cause. Generally, there are many reasons for migraine, most of which are due to fatigue or cold. After finding out the cause, symptomatic treatment is very important.

Symptoms of migraine:

1. Prodromal symptoms: One or several days before the onset of migraine symptoms, some patients will have some abnormal phenomena, such as fear of light, fear of noise, emotional instability, drowsiness, edema, etc.

2. Headache symptoms: Severe headache will occur on one side. The symptoms of migraine may be throbbing and burning, gradually spreading to the entire head, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, photophobia, phonophobia, and lasting 4 to 72 hours. Migraine patients are willing to rest in a dark room, and most patients will feel relieved if they can get a good night's sleep.

3. Prodromal symptoms: Patients mainly experience visual symptoms, such as flashes in front of the eyes, golden stars, water ripples, battlement shapes, visual field defects and other symptoms of migraine, which last for about 20 to 30 minutes.

What are the symptoms of a migraine attack? 1. Before a typical attack, there are often prodromal symptoms, such as drowsiness, fatigue, depression, flashes of light, dark spots, hemianopsia, and localized sensory and motor disorders such as numbness of the face, lips, limbs, or aphasia. The above precursor symptoms may last for several minutes to half an hour before disappearing. Then comes a severe headache that may be throbbing, dull, or stabbing. The pain usually starts in the right temporal area, spreads to half of the head, or spreads to the entire head. The headache may last for hours or days before gradually subsiding, often completely relieved by falling asleep.

2. Other symptoms: Pain attacks are often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, fatigue, photophobia with closed eyes, pale complexion, conjunctiva and nasal mucosa may have congestion and increased secretions and other symptoms.

3. Frequency of attacks: Migraine attacks occur periodically. In female patients, attacks are often related to menstruation. The frequency of attacks varies from person to person, with some experiencing once a week or several weeks and others experiencing several attacks a week.
