What is the reason for the baby's one leg shaking

Leg shaking is a very bad habit for adults. Not only adults have leg shaking, but many babies also have this phenomenon. Just think about it and you will know that it is an abnormal condition. What is the reason why babies shake on one leg is what parents are most concerned about. In fact, this is a normal phenomenon and has a lot to do with calcium deficiency. Once you understand the reason, you will not be nervous. Let’s take a look at the reasons why babies shake on one leg.

What is the reason for newborn leg shaking? 1. The brain development of newborn babies is still very imperfect, but the nerve centers and spinal cord responsible for movement below the cerebral cortex have reached a relatively complete level in function. Therefore, some movements of newborns are controlled by the subcortical center and not by the cerebral cortex. Therefore, involuntary and purposeless shaking often occurs. This is a normal phenomenon and will not affect intellectual development. As you grow older and your brain continues to develop, this involuntary shaking will naturally decrease and eventually disappear, and be replaced by conscious, autonomous movements. Just like when you first start exercising and use heavy weights you will shake, as your strength increases you will be able to control your muscles better and will not shake anymore.

2. The symptom of the child's trembling legs is considered to be a manifestation of calcium deficiency. It is recommended to supplement the child with calcium after the child's intestinal function recovers (generally, breast milk can no longer meet the child's calcium needs for physical growth and development two months after birth, so it is recommended to supplement the child with calcium). The baby lacks trace elements. Minerals and trace elements are a kind of energy in the human body. They only account for a very small part of the whole body. However, they are also indispensable to the human body. Trace element testing can be done to supplement what is lacking, such as calcium, iron, zinc, selenium, etc.

Parents don’t need to panic if there are several abnormalities in newborns : 1. Spitting up. For babies under 3 months old, the cardia muscles are not fully developed and the stomach capacity of newborns is small. Therefore, most babies will slowly overflow from the corners of their mouths with more or less white milk after feeding, when crying, moving around, or when patting their backs. Therefore, after feeding, family members can pat the baby's back gently for a few minutes to prevent the baby from crying excessively. As the baby grows older, the spitting-up symptoms will gradually ease. However, if the milk is spurting out, the amount of spitting out is large, or the spitting out is yellow-green, further examination is necessary.

2. Swelling on the top of the head. The head of a newborn born vaginally is usually oval in shape, like a swelling. This is caused by pressure on the fetal head in the birth canal during delivery. Some babies have soft lumps on their heads after birth. This is scalp edema or hematoma caused by pressure during delivery and usually disappears 6-10 weeks after birth. However, if the lump continues to grow or does not disappear after 10 weeks, seek medical attention immediately.

3. Long horse teeth. Newborns often have milky white particles on the gingival margin or near the midline of the upper palate. The surface is smooth and the number ranges from one to dozens. These particles are clinically called epithelial beads, commonly known as horse teeth. They are the most primitive tissue for tooth development. They are formed by the proliferation and thickening of oral mucosal epithelial cells at 6 weeks of embryonic development. Generally, it will be absorbed by itself in about 2 weeks. Do not pick it with a needle or rub it with a cloth to avoid damaging the mucous membrane and causing infection.
