Stomach knot and can't defecate

Stomach knot and can't defecate

The human body excretes every day. It is normal to urinate four or five times a day and defecate at least once. However, some people cannot defecate, and this situation can exist for a long time. It will take them many days to defecate. This situation can be treated, but it requires some changes in daily diet. So what should you do if you have a stomachache and cannot defecate?

The diet should be light, eat less spicy, fried, deep-fried, strong alcoholic and other indigestible and irritating foods, eat more fruits, vegetables and fibrous foods, drink plenty of water, especially bananas and honey-like laxative foods.

Do not stand or sit for long periods of time, and increase exercise appropriately, especially pelvic floor exercises.

Have bowel movements regularly every day (even if you don't have a bowel movement, you should go to the toilet regularly to do bowel movement conditioned reflex training). Each bowel movement should not be too long, about 5 minutes is appropriate.

Take a sitz bath and steam before and after defecation to keep the anus clean.

Drink a glass of warm salt water or cool boiled water every morning when you wake up to promote intestinal peristalsis.

If the stool is dry, you can take appropriate laxatives.

If you insist on drinking water on an empty stomach in the morning for a long time, you can add some prebiotic dietary fiber - 7-10 grams of golden bifidobacterium factor to nourish and proliferate beneficial intestinal bacteria, regulate the stomach and intestines, and improve constipation. An effective method is to drink a certain amount of water in one breath at a fixed time every day, such as drinking 500 ml (two large cups) of water on an empty stomach every morning. In this way, the water reaches the colon before it has time to be absorbed in the intestines, which helps soften the intestinal contents and aid defecation. Long-term persistence can help you develop a good habit of getting up early to defecate.

Pay attention to supplementing your diet with foods high in crude fiber, such as celery, oranges, and whole-wheat products.

At night, on an empty stomach, do sit-ups for 1 to 2 minutes, or move the abdomen clockwise along the colon to stimulate the intestines and promote intestinal peristalsis.
