How to use mugwort to treat uterine cold

1. Mugwort and ginger tea

5 grams of mugwort leaves, 5-8 slices of ginger, and appropriate amount of brown sugar. Wash the mugwort leaves, put them into a casserole, add one and a half bowls of water, put in the ginger slices, bring to a boil over high heat, add brown sugar, then boil over low heat, filter out the residue, and drink the soup.

Effect: Mugwort warms the meridians, removes dampness, and dispels cold; ginger induces sweating and relieves exterior symptoms, and drives away the cold. This prescription has a very good therapeutic effect on uterine cold, and can promote blood circulation, dispel cold and relieve pain, and improve cold hands and feet.

2. Mugwort and brown sugar water

Boil appropriate amounts of mugwort and brown sugar together in water, remove the residue and drink the soup. Be careful not to use an iron pot to cook it, as this will cause the mugwort to lose its medicinal properties.

Effect: Warms the uterus, dispels cold, and removes blood stasis. If women with uterine cold can drink it 3 days before menstruation, it can promote the discharge of dirty blood during menstruation and prevent and treat dysmenorrhea.

3. Boiled eggs with mugwort leaves

2 eggs and appropriate amount of mugwort leaves. Wash the mugwort leaves, put them into a casserole and bring to a boil, then turn to low heat and beat in the eggs. After the eggs are cooked, add brown sugar and continue to boil slightly.

4. Mugwort, jujube and brown sugar water

A small handful of mugwort leaves and wolfberries, 6 dates, 6 longans, and an appropriate amount of brown sugar. Wash all the ingredients with water, put them into a casserole, add 3 large bowls of water and boil. After boiling over high heat, simmer for 15 minutes over low heat, then add brown sugar.

5. Mugwort Chicken Soup

1 old hen, 15 grams of mugwort, and appropriate amount of rice wine. Prepare the old hen and put it into a stewing pot together with the washed moxa leaves. Add appropriate amount of rice wine and water. Cover the stewing pot and stew it in water for 3 hours until the chicken is cooked and tender. Season it.

Function: Nourish deficiency, replenish qi and blood, improve uterine cold, amenorrhea, continuous menstrual bleeding, scanty blood flow and pale complexion, etc.

Other ways to use mugwort to warm the uterus

1. Soaking your feet in mugwort leaves can treat uterine coldness

50 grams of fresh mugwort, or 30 grams of dried mugwort will do. Boil a pot of water, then add appropriate amount of clean water. When the temperature reaches about 40℃ to 50℃, use it to soak your feet for about 20 minutes each time. It can regulate qi and blood, dispel cold and dampness, and warm and dredge the meridians.

But be careful not to use moxa leaves to soak your feet for a long time, as it can easily cause virtual fire and cold evil, which will lead to insufficient blood supply. In addition, if your body is very cold and damp, you can soak your feet once a week, and then drink a cup of ginger and red date tea after soaking your feet, which can remove the cold without draining the gas.

2. Moxibustion acupoints with moxa sticks

Use moxa sticks made of mugwort to warm the acupoints for 30 minutes. Generally, you can use moxa sticks to warm the acupoints. The Qihai point, which is 1.5 inches directly below the center of the navel, and the Guanyuan point, which is 3 inches directly below the center of the navel.
