What is the disease of red blood spots on the body

The appearance of red blood spots on the body may be caused by allergic dermatitis. Because dermatitis does not appear large areas of erythema at the beginning, but only some small red blood spots. As the disease continues to worsen, it begins to spread on the surface, and finally causes skin damage. Therefore, strict control should be exercised in normal times, and appropriate treatment methods should be chosen.

Red blood spots appear on the body

Children's allergic rash, also known as drug allergic reaction, is mostly related to drug allergy as the name suggests. Its symptoms are slightly similar to those of eczema, so some parents mistakenly believe that this allergic reaction is eczema. Children are the most common victims because their immune systems are the weakest. This allergic reaction is itself an abnormal reaction of the immune system.

1. Causes

People who are prone to allergic reactions to certain substances have an allergic constitution (often inherited through genetics). When a person with an allergic constitution encounters an allergen, a series of symptoms caused by the allergy will occur. The most common is rash, and abdominal pain, diarrhea, asthma, epilepsy, and anaphylactic shock may also occur. It is understood that people with allergic constitutions account for more than one-third of the population. How can we protect such a large group of people from the harm of allergies? First of all, we need to find out the allergens. People with allergies should try their best to avoid contact with them, so as to reduce or avoid the disease.

2. Clinical manifestations of allergic rash

Allergic rashes have quite a few clinical manifestations, and drug fever is the earliest of them. Drug fever is a fever caused by allergies, which is different from the fever caused by normal illness. The speed of drug fever is related to the number of allergies. If the first contact with a certain drug causes allergy, the patient may begin to have fever symptoms more than ten days after the allergy, but when exposed to the drug allergen again, drug fever will come on quite quickly. Secondly, although drug fever is as high as a high fever, patients are often not unconscious, and as long as the allergy drug is discontinued, the fever will subside on its own, and there is no need to take antipyretics.

Allergic rashes can also cause a rash known as a drug rash. Drug rash usually occurs after drug fever; but occasionally it may occur before drug fever. There are many forms of rash, such as measles-like, purpura-like, scarlet fever-like, urticaria-like, herpes-like, eczema-like, etc. It is worth noting that there is a type of drug rash that is highly fixed, that is, an allergic rash caused by the same drug, and each subsequent allergic rash appears in the same location. It appears red at first, then slowly turns dark brown and is difficult to completely disappear. The drugs that cause fixed rashes mainly include barbiturates (sedatives), phenolphthalein (laxatives), heavy metal salts (such as bismuth, antimony), sulfonamides, arsenic agents, etc.

3. The harm of allergic rash

Allergic rashes may cause serious harm to children's bodies, such as anaphylactic shock, digestive system abnormalities, hemolytic anemia, liver function abnormalities, respiratory system abnormalities, kidney damage, nervous system damage, etc.
