My lower body is wet, what's going on?

Adult women should pay attention to the health of their reproductive system, but why is my lower body wet? This problem is familiar to most women. There will be a large amount of secretions during each menstrual period. Once infected with bacteria, pain, itching, redness and swelling will occur. Although secretions are normal, excessive amounts are a disease and women can find out the cause through routine examinations of leucorrhea.

Causes of vulvar itching

1. Vaginal diseases

Candida vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis, Gonorrhea vaginitis, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia infection, etc. This disease can easily be transmitted between sexual partners. During treatment, the sexual partners must be treated at the same time to prevent cross infection and achieve a complete cure.

2. Bad hygiene habits

Not developing the habit of cleaning the vulva every day, or not changing and washing underwear frequently. If sanitary appliances are not dedicated, or if the same basin is used for bathing and washing feet, these can transmit bacteria and cause infection.

3 External stimulation

Sometimes birth control pills can also cause itching. Itching can also be caused by tight underwear, friction from underwear, and irritation from the menstrual period.

4Local vulvar lesions

Common warts, herpes, eczema, condyloma acuminatum, vulvar squamous cell hyperplasia, lichen sclerosus, pubic lice, scabies, etc.

Vulvar itching self-examination

Wash your hands first, then use the "tips" of your index and middle fingers to press the vulva starting from the "mons pubis" area, from top to bottom, until the anus. When you touch the vulva normally, it should feel smooth and soft. If you don't press hard, you won't feel any pain. Of course, under normal circumstances, you shouldn't feel any small nodules or lumps. Otherwise, you may be sick.

Vulvar itching prevention and treatment

1. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva, do not use soap to wash the vulva, and try to avoid scratching and rubbing the affected area. 2. If the symptoms still cannot be relieved after doing the above points, you should seek medical attention in time, find out the cause of the itching, and treat it according to the cause of the disease. Do not take medicine blindly.

3. If the treatment of vulvar itching is delayed, it will often become a very difficult disease to treat, but it is not a terminal illness. Patients should not have too much psychological burden and should go to a regular hospital as soon as possible.
