Small red blood spots on the body

Small red blood spots on the body

Most of the red spots on the body are caused by dermatitis. We need to rule out possible contact factors, such as frequent contact with water stains, food and daily necessities. These are the main causes of body allergies. In normal times, we can give local treatment, systemic treatment and appropriate adjustment.

Condition analysis: Hello, contact dermatitis is an acute or chronic dermatitis that occurs at the contact site after contact with exogenous irritants. It manifests as erythema, papules, edema, blisters, and even bullae. Suggestions: 1. Local treatment. For those with significant acute inflammation but no erosion and exudation, use calamine lotion or 5% menthol powder first. If there is a large amount of exudate, use 3% boric acid solution, saline, etc. for wet compresses. If there are signs of infection, use 0.02% furazolidone solution for wet compresses. After the skin lesions and inflammation disappear, corticosteroid creams or ointments can be used.

2. Systemic treatment: If the above treatment does not heal or the itching is severe, systemic medication is required. Antihistamines are commonly used to relieve itching and inflammation. OPC glucoside and calcium gluconate can also be taken at the same time. Antibiotics are used for treatment when infection occurs.

Contact dermatitis is an acute inflammation that occurs at the contact site after the skin or mucous membrane comes into contact with certain objects. It can be divided into primary irritation (such as strong acid, strong alkali, etc.) and allergic reaction (such as animal, plant, chemical). Its clinical characteristics are lesions with sharp edges at the contact site. Mild cases are edematous erythema, while more severe cases have papules, lumps and even large scars. In more severe cases, there may be epidermal loosening and even necrosis. If skin contact sensitivity can be repaired early, it can be cured, otherwise it may turn into eczema-like dermatitis. What are the symptoms of contact dermatitis? Its clinical characteristics are lesions with clear edges at the contact site, with mild cases presenting as edema and erythema, and more severe cases presenting as papules. Blisters or even bullae may occur, and in more severe cases, the epidermis may relax or even necrotize. If the cause is removed early and appropriate treatment is given, it can be cured; otherwise, it may turn into eczema-like dermatitis.

Causes of contact dermatitis There are many types of irritants that cause contact dermatitis, mainly the following: 1. Various animal fur, some animals such as bees, jellyfish, ticks, moths, butterflies, moths, etc.; 2. Chemical substances. The vast majority of contact dermatitis is caused by chemical irritants, such as drugs, dyes, detergents, oils, cosmetics, chemical fibers, plastic products, chemical raw materials, contraceptive devices, watch straps, nail polish, etc.; 3. Plants, mainly including mustard, croton, garlic, nettle, pyrethrum, etc. The morphology, extent and severity of skin lesions depend on the type, nature and concentration of the contact substance, the duration of contact, the location and area of contact, and the degree of the body's response to the irritant. In mild cases, the local skin is congested with clear light blood spots on the edges; in severe cases, papules, blister scars (or large scars), erosions, exudation, etc. occur on the basis of erythema. In mild cases, patients will feel burning and itching, while in severe cases, they will feel pain. Treatment and care of contact dermatitis 1. Assist patients to find out the cause of the disease and avoid further contact. 2. Use warm water, boric acid water or hydrogen peroxide to treat local dermatitis. Clean with aluminum acetate solution. If there is grease, use vegetable oil for cleaning. If the dermatitis is on the extremities, soak or wet compress with warm potassium permanganate solution, 34 times a day. For the first cleaning, use a little alkaline soap or neutral soap. After washing with soapy water, rinse with plenty of water. 3. Avoid further stimulation. It is strictly forbidden to wash with hot water, rub, scratch or eat irritating food. Children should be especially advised to avoid scratching. For younger children, their hands can be restrained appropriately or they can wear gloves when they sleep. When the dermatitis area is red and swollen or has a small amount of papules and blisters but no skin breaks or pus discharge, you can apply calamine lotion to keep the affected area dry and relieve itching. When calamine lotion accumulates on the skin, it must be rinsed off with cold water before applying the medicine. Calamine lotion has a heat-dissipating effect, which can lower skin temperature and is effective for general inflammatory reactions. If there is a large amount of exudate and erosion in dermatitis, you can use potassium permanganate solution (1: deleted) for soaking or wet compress. After the wet compress, the skin can dry. After the skin is dry, you can apply corticosteroid cream or other soothing and antipruritic agents.
