Closed comedones on the forehead recur

Pimples generally don't grow out, but they are a bit painful when touched. The forehead is most prone to acne and blackheads, which are usually difficult to heal and the condition is prone to recurrence. This is mostly caused by endocrine disorders. You should pay more attention to rest and avoid staying up late. Usually you should pay attention to facial cleansing. It is best to use facial cleanser to better clean the skin. Try to avoid recurring acne.

Closed comedones, also known as whiteheads, appear as yellowish-white dots or pimples. Closed comedones are difficult to cure clinically. The cause of closed comedones is excessive thickness of the stratum corneum.

Closed comedones are unstable comedones (closed type) that can easily develop into pustules. Acne can be divided into closed comedones and blackheads. The main reason for closed comedones on the face may be due to poor detoxification of the body, leading to endocrine disorders. Closed comedones are characterized by small, hemispherical white bags the size of rice grains, which are hard in texture and have no subjective symptoms.

The root cause of whitehead acne is endocrine disorders and excessive secretion of male hormones. Sebum metabolism disorders, poor blood circulation, and pathogen infection are also causes of acne. There are two main types of closed comedones: external factors and internal factors:

1. External factors cause closed comedones

1. Improper cleaning: causes pores to be clogged and bacterial infection.

2. Squeezing, picking, and improper needle picking: Some people squeeze acne and cause bacterial infection.

3. Use inferior cosmetics, such as dual-purpose powder, foundation, etc.

4. Ultraviolet rays and certain chemicals, etc.

2. Internal factors causing closed comedones

1. Excessive secretion of androgen: This is the main reason. Especially during adolescence, excessive secretion of androgen in males and females is the main cause of acne. Androgens can directly stimulate the increase of sebaceous glands, promote the keratinization of hair follicles, clog the pores and cause inflammation, resulting in the formation of acne and pimples.

2. Related to women’s menstrual cycle: For some women, acne worsens before menstruation. It is mainly related to changes in hormone secretion.

3. Internal diseases or functional disorders of the body: lesions of organs such as the stomach, kidneys, and liver, especially gastrointestinal dysfunction and constipation can induce the occurrence of acne.

4. Mental stress, excessive fatigue, lack of sleep, etc.

5. Overeating greasy, spicy and sour foods and sweets.
