What to do if talus necrosis

What to do if talus necrosis

Our bones may seem strong and firm, but in fact, they are not. If we are not careful, they may cause bone necrosis. Some people accidentally sprained their right ankle while playing basketball. They went to the hospital for a CT scan, which showed a fracture or something, so they didn't pay any attention to it. However, I continued to feel pain in my ankle. At first, the pain was not obvious, but it became more and more severe. Later, an MRI report showed that it was talus necrosis.

1. What is talus necrosis?

When the ankle joint suffers severe injury, the blood supply to the talus may be completely destroyed, resulting in ischemic necrosis. This eventually leads to collapse and deformation of the talus body, causing ankle osteoarthritis. Therefore, prevention and early treatment of avascular necrosis of the talus play an important role in its function. Talus fracture is the main cause of talus necrosis, and other causes only account for about 10% of talus necrosis. Talus osteonecrosis should be treated actively according to the cause, and glucocorticoids are contraindicated (they can cause osteonecrosis).

2. Treatment Methods

There are many methods to treat talus necrosis. In situ transplantation therapy can be used, and through oral Chinese medicine, nerve stimulation, target-directed superconductivity, internal and external microcirculation, external plasters, etc., fresh bone bed can be reconstructed for different types of femoral head necrosis, the amount of nourishing blood perfusion in the bone damage area can be increased, necrotic bone tissue can be gradually replaced by creeping, and the smoothness of the femoral head surface can be repaired, thereby achieving the goal of fundamentally curing femoral head necrosis. Over the past decade, this therapy has cured tens of thousands of patients with femoral head necrosis, eliminated the pain of surgery, and effectively prevented the recurrence of femoral head necrosis. The 39 classification method is a systematic classification method for femoral head necrosis that combines the cause, pathology, disease progression and corresponding treatment principles. That is, on the basis of qualitative experiments and quantitative research, femoral head necrosis is divided into three stages according to the stage of disease progression, required treatment principles and prognosis coefficient, and femoral head necrosis is divided into nine types according to the cause, pathology and rehabilitation coefficient. The 39 classification method provides a scientific basis and rigid standards for the classification, typing and diagnosis of femoral head necrosis, and also lays a solid foundation for the targeted, scientific and innovative treatment of femoral head necrosis.

3. What to eat on a daily basis is good for growing bones

First of all, you should eat more fresh vegetables, such as amaranth, Chinese mustard, coriander, and pakchoy, and also eat more fruits. Medical research shows that these foods contain sufficient vitamins D and C, which play an important regulatory role in our body's bone metabolism. In addition, eating more tofu is also a dietary approach for osteoporosis.

Secondly, drink more bone soup. In our daily life, our parents would occasionally make bone soup for us since we were young. There is a reason for this, because bones contain a large amount of bone fiber and a variety of vitamins. Adding some vinegar when making bone soup can help dissolve the calcium in the bones, so bone soup is the best food to improve osteoporosis.
