Is your face red and itchy due to allergies? But it greatly affects a person's appearance. However, we say that the current environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious, and allergens are everywhere in life. So what should we do if our face unfortunately becomes red and itchy due to allergies? In fact, it should be said that facial allergy, redness and itching are not a terrible thing. Usually, they can be easily treated by taking some medicine. Commonly used anti-allergy drugs mainly include four types: (1) Antihistamines. This is the most commonly used anti-allergy medication and is best used for type 1 allergic reactions. This type of drug is an H1 receptor blocker. Because it has a similar chemical structure to histamine, it can compete with it to antagonize histamine receptors. It has a good therapeutic effect on skin and mucous membrane allergic reactions, and is effective for skin itching and edema caused by insect bites. It is also effective for urticaria caused by serum sickness, but is ineffective for those with joint pain and high fever; and has a poor effect on bronchial asthma. The dosage should be individualized, and drivers or machine operators should avoid using drugs with strong central nervous system depressant effects when working. (2) Allergic reaction mediator blockers, also known as mast cell stabilizers. It is mainly used to treat allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, ulcerative colitis and allergic dermatitis. (3) Calcium supplements. It can increase the density of capillaries, reduce permeability, thereby reducing exudation and alleviating or relieving allergic symptoms. It is often used to treat urticaria, eczema, contact dermatitis and serum sickness. Adjuvant treatment of allergic diseases such as angioedema. The main one is calcium gluconate. Calcium chloride, etc., is usually given intravenously and works quickly. There is a sensation of heat when calcium is injected, so it should be injected slowly. If the injection is too fast or the dose is too large, it may cause heart rhythm disorders, and in severe cases, it may cause ventricular fibrillation or cardiac arrest. (4) Immunosuppressants. It mainly has a nonspecific inhibitory effect on the body's immune function and is effective for all types of allergic reactions, but it is mainly used to treat refractory exogenous allergic reactions, autoimmune diseases and organ transplantation. (5) Ginseng skin cream. Applying it to the affected area can effectively relieve the symptoms of allergic dermatitis. Not suitable for systemic symptoms. Precautions for patients with skin allergies 1. Stay away from allergens, because allergic symptoms will always exist and cannot be cured. You can only be careful at all times and avoid contact with allergens that may cause allergies. 2. Strengthening the skin's resistance is also an effective basic countermeasure, such as getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet, maintaining a harmonious mood, staying away from polluted environments and allergens, reducing skin irritation, etc. Mild sensitivity will recover quickly if handled properly, but in severe cases, you should seek medical attention immediately. 3. Pay attention to the use of sunscreen products and avoid excessive exposure to the sun, because ultraviolet rays have extremely strong penetrating power. Frequent exposure to the sun will make the skin thinner and more susceptible to irritation. 4. Use facial cleansers and cosmetics with caution. 5. People with "sensitive" skin should use warm water to wash their skin more often. In areas where pollen is flying in the spring, they should try to reduce going out to avoid causing pollen dermatitis. They can use moisturizer in the morning and evening to keep the skin moisturized and prevent dryness and flaking. Dietary precautions for patients with skin allergies 1. Take more vitamin C. Lack of vitamin C can easily make the skin rough and dry, leading to sensitive symptoms such as dermatitis and peeling. Among fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C, pears and kiwi fruit are the first choice. Eating more of them can strengthen skin tissue and help fight against external allergies. 2. Drink herbal tea and other foods that can clear away heat and reduce fire. 3. Pay more attention to what you eat. You must not eat barbecue, no matter how delicious it is, as it can cause great damage to sensitive skin and cause it to become severely dehydrated. 4. Eat less fried food, and of course it is best not to eat it, whether it is a staple food or a snack. 5. It is better to avoid spicy food. 6. At the same time, you should also drink less alcohol. |
