Chinese medicine rectal drip treatment

Chinese medicine rectal drip treatment

We all know that there is a new method of treating diseases in clinical practice, called rectal direct administration of medicine. Especially for children, because it is difficult to give them medicine, many doctors will choose to give children rectal medication when treating diseases. The effect of treating diseases is also better. The following is a detailed introduction to the treatment method of Chinese medicine rectal instillation.

Rectal instillation is one of the methods of external treatment for internal diseases in traditional Chinese medicine. It is a new clinical drug delivery technology developed based on traditional medicine and modern medical theories. It is the third important route of administration besides oral administration and injection.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the lungs and large intestine are exterior and interior to each other. After the rectum absorbs the drug, it is transported to the lungs through the meridians and then distributed throughout the body through the lung's function of dispersing and promoting the flow of drugs, thus achieving the purpose of treatment. Modern medical research believes that the rectal mucosa has vigorous blood circulation and strong absorption capacity. Rectal instillation can be used to treat many common and frequently occurring diseases in clinical practice. It has good efficacy, is painless, and has no toxic side effects. It is especially suitable for patients and children who have difficulty in oral and intravenous administration.

After the drug is absorbed through the rectum, it first bypasses the liver and enters the general circulation directly through the middle rectal vein, inferior rectal vein and anal canal vein, which not only prevents and reduces the changes of the drug in the liver, but also avoids the influence of the stomach and small intestine on the drug; secondly, it enters the lungs through the superior rectal vein and the portal vein for metabolism, and then circulates to the whole body; thirdly, after being absorbed by the rectal lymphatic system, it enters the blood circulation through the chylous cisterna and thoracic duct. It can be seen that rectal instillation is beneficial to the therapeutic effect of drugs and also highlights the characteristics of Chinese medicine's syndrome differentiation and treatment.

It is a new concept of green therapy based on the combination of traditional medical theory and modern scientific practice. It is painless to patients, has a fast effect, high efficacy, few toxic and side effects, is easy to operate and low in cost. Now I will introduce this treatment method to you, hoping it will be helpful to everyone.

Features

1. Rectal instillation is a new clinical drug administration route that involves placing liquid medicine or drugs into an infusion bottle, cutting off the filter from the infusion tube, and connecting it to a disposable PVC rectal instillation catheter to achieve the purpose of drug administration through rectal instillation.

2. How to operate rectal instillation:

Put the solution to be dripped rectally into an infusion bottle and warm it appropriately. The temperature should be between 35 and 40 degrees (be careful not to make it too high or too low).

Cut off the filter from the infusion tube and insert it into the infusion bottle for rectal drip. After venting, connect it to a disposable PVC tube and apply lubricant on the front end, such as liquid paraffin or cooking oil. Then, insert the PVC tube into the patient's anus and drip it in.

Insertion depth of rectal instillation catheter: Adults: 10-20CM; Children: 5-10CM. The temperature at night is 35-40*C. Body position: Adults generally lie on their left side, and children generally lie supine or prone.

Drug application: You can refer to the combination of Chinese and Western medicines for oral use in clinical practice. The following is the recipe of Shandong chief physician Wang Hongcai, you can refer to it.
