Redness and itching of the skin is a very common phenomenon in normal times. Most sensitive skin can easily cause this phenomenon, but sometimes non-sensitive skin can also have this skin allergy phenomenon. If allergic phenomena such as redness and itching of the skin occur, care is very important in life, but if the care is not done well, even if the skin is not sensitive, it will cause skin damage.

When the skin becomes red and itchy, skin care needs to be more gentle and scientific. Do not use skin care products blindly or too much. Be aware of the following 4 details in your daily skin care.

1. Avoid using alkaline facial cleansers to wash your face

Normally, even if your skin is healthy, I do not recommend using alkaline facial cleansers to wash your face. It does clean your face very well, but it over-cleans and takes away moisture from the skin while damaging the sebum membrane. Therefore, when the skin is allergic and red, you should not use alkaline facial cleansers to cleanse your face, but instead use weakly acidic cleansing products.

2. Do not use skin care products containing alcohol

Although

Skin care products containing alcohol are not as harmful to the skin as we think. Instead, they have many benefits such as anti-inflammatory and oil control. However, it is recommended not to use it on sensitive and red skin. Although skin care products containing alcohol can temporarily calm the skin, after the alcohol on the face evaporates, the allergic skin will become drier.

3. Use sunscreen with caution

When your skin is sensitive, you do need to do a good job of sun protection, but you can't use sunscreen casually. It's best to use a sunscreen that does not require makeup removal, is light, moisturizing, and non-greasy, so as not to increase the burden on the skin. There are many sunscreens available for sensitive skin. You should use that one and remember to test it behind your ear before use. If the allergy is severe, it is recommended that you protect yourself from the sun by wearing a hat, sunglasses and an umbrella.

4. Don’t use hydrating masks frequently

Many girls suffer from red and sensitive skin, accompanied by peeling, so they frequently apply hydrating facial masks, thinking that this can soothe the skin, hydrate the skin, and relieve allergies. But allergies are allergies, and they cannot be solved simply by lack of water. The facial mask actually separates the skin from the air, forcing the skin to absorb nutrients intensively, so the stratum corneum will instantly become hydrated and the skin will become smooth. However, the stratum corneum is opened at this time, the skin is very fragile, and its resistance to the outside world is also reduced. So this is why I always tell people not to go out with a facial mask on, as it is easy to get sunburned.

Finally, if your skin redness, itching and allergies are severe, you must see a doctor in time to solve the problem, rather than listening to folk remedies at home and trying to fix it. Be careful not to damage the skin's protective barrier, which will not be worth the loss.
