What does frequent urination mean?

Frequent urination is a relatively common symptom. It is not a single disease. It is caused by a significant increase in the number of urinations due to some reasons. Generally, there is no stinging sensation when frequent urination occurs. There are many reasons for frequent urination, both physiological and disease reasons. It can be said that the reasons are relatively wide. If frequent urination occurs, you should go to the hospital in time for a routine urine test and a blood test.

examine

1. Blood tests will reveal that red blood cells and hemoglobin are decreasing, while white blood cells are increasing and platelets are decreasing. 2. Urine examination: Generally, the urine volume is oliguric, ≤17mlh or <400mld, the urine specific gravity is low, <1.014 or even stable at around 1.010, the urine will be acidic, the urine protein is qualitatively + to +++, and coarse granular casts can be seen in the urine sediment microscopic examination.

Causes

(1) Increased urine volume: When urine volume increases, the frequency of urination will also increase accordingly. Under physiological conditions, such as drinking a lot of water, eating watermelon, and drinking beer, due to the increase in water intake, the urine volume increases through the regulation and filtration of the kidneys, and the frequency of urination also increases, resulting in frequent urination. Under pathological conditions, such as some patients with diabetes and diabetes insipidus, they drink a lot of water, urinate a lot, and urinate frequently. But there was no discomfort in urination. (2) Inflammatory stimulation: When there is inflammation in the bladder, the nerve perception threshold is lowered, the urinary urge center is in an excited state, resulting in frequent urination and reduced urine volume (<300-500 ml/time in adults). Therefore, frequent urination is an important symptom of cystitis, especially acute cystitis, which is more obvious in tuberculous cystitis. Other conditions, such as prostatitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, chronic balanoposthitis in children, vulvitis, etc., may also cause frequent urination. Under the stimulation of inflammation, frequent urination, urgency and pain often occur at the same time, which is called urinary tract irritation syndrome, commonly known as "triuria syndrome". (3) Non-inflammatory irritation: such as urinary stones and foreign bodies, usually with frequent urination as the main manifestation. (4) Reduced bladder capacity: such as bladder space-occupying lesions, compression from the enlarged uterus during pregnancy, tuberculous bladder contracture, or large bladder stones. (5) Psychoneural urinary frequency: Frequent urination only occurs during the day or before falling asleep at night. It is often caused by mental stress or occurs in patients with hysteria. This may also be accompanied by urinary urgency and pain.

Prevention of Frequent Urinary

First, control the dietary structure to avoid excessive intake of acidic substances, which will aggravate the acidic physique. The acid-base balance of the diet has a great influence on the prevention of frequent urination. Second, you should regularly engage in outdoor exercise and sweat more in the sun to help eliminate excess acidic substances in the body. Breathe more fresh air and reduce the chance of illness. Contributes to people's physical health. Third, maintain a good mood and do not have too much psychological pressure. Excessive stress will lead to the deposition of acidic substances and affect the normal metabolism. Proper adjustment of mood and self-stress can maintain a weak alkaline constitution and keep frequent urination away from everyone. Fourth, life should be regular. People with irregular living habits, such as singing karaoke, playing mahjong, staying out all night, etc., will aggravate the acidification of the body. Viruses can easily invade. We should develop good living habits to maintain a weak alkaline physique and keep viruses away from ourselves. Fifth, stay away from tobacco and alcohol. Tobacco and alcohol are typical acidic foods. Smoking and drinking without restraint can easily lead to acidification of the human body.
