What should pregnant women do if they suffer from air conditioning disease?

Pregnant women have a harder time in the summer because they gain weight and are relatively fat, making them less resistant to high temperatures. Many pregnant women like to stay in air-conditioned rooms in summer, but if the air conditioner is not used properly, it will also cause adverse effects, making it easy to catch a cold, catch a chill, and other adverse situations. Therefore, when using air conditioning, you must understand some precautions.

What should pregnant women do if they suffer from air conditioning disease?

1. The air outlet is higher than the head

The air outlet is located slightly higher than the top of the head, so the head will feel very cool and breathing will be very smooth. At this time, the human body will be in the best condition. The cold air slowly settles from top to bottom, gradually cooling the body and limbs. This is the most natural cool state of the body.

2. Use an ice rice bag to wipe the cool mat

In summer, even the mats used for sleeping are hot. Some people will wipe them with a cold towel, while others will use ice cubes to cool down. You can also prepare a few pairs of clean short stockings and a small bowl of rice. Pour the dry rice into the stockings, tie a knot, put them in a plastic bag, and put them in the refrigerator to freeze for an hour or so before taking them out. Put the frozen stockings on a cool mat and wipe them, the temperature of the mat will drop immediately. When the weather is particularly hot, you can also put the rice socks on the Dazhui point (behind the neck), which will make you feel refreshed instantly, but don't keep doing it for too long.

3. Drink more water + sprinkle water + cool colors

If you stay in an air-conditioned room for a long time, you will inevitably become dehydrated and have dry skin. At this time, pregnant women must replenish plenty of water and drink more water. In addition, you can sprinkle some water in the room and mop the floor to increase the negative ions in the room. You can also decorate your home with cool colors and use less warm colors such as red and yellow. First create a visual "coolness" and then calm your mood.

4. The temperature should be between 26℃ and 28℃

Excessive desire for coolness is a big taboo when using air conditioning, especially you should not use the air conditioner while covering yourself with a quilt. The temperature when using air conditioning is around 28°C when sleeping and around 26°C when awake. Try to keep the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor areas below 8°C. If you have a weak constitution, turn up the temperature. In addition, before entering an air-conditioned room, it is best to wipe off the sweat before entering.

5. Homemade ice fan for coolness

In the hot summer, you can also make your own ice fan to cool down. You can use the industrial ice used to refrigerate seafood, break it into several pieces and set aside in batches. When you get home, take out one of the ice cubes and put it on the face plate, turn on the electric fan and blow it at the ice cube. In this way, a low-carbon and environmentally friendly "ice fan" is born. As the ice melts and evaporates, the wind will become cooler. After half an hour, the room will be basically cool and you will not sweat. When using it, it is better to open the window slightly to keep the indoor air circulating.

6. Ventilate

Don't stay away from opening windows just to save electricity, as this can easily lead to oxygen deprivation in the human body. It is recommended to ventilate the room once in the morning, afternoon and evening every day. If you stay in an air-conditioned room for a long time, you should stand up and move around, go for a walk, which can redistribute the blood and relieve numbness in the limbs.
