1: Black Chicken and Astragalus Soup

1: Ingredients: 250g black-bone chicken, 60g astragalus. Preparation: (1) Wash the above two ingredients, remove the internal organs of the black-bone chicken and cut into pieces. (2) Place all ingredients in a pot, add appropriate amount of water, boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 2 to 3 hours until cooked through. 1: Ingredients: 15 grams of black plum, 30 grams of brown sugar. Method: Put black plums and brown sugar into a pot, add 1.5 bowls of water, simmer until half a bowl of water remains, remove the residue and drink it warm. Efficacy: It has the effects of nourishing blood, stopping bleeding, beautifying the skin. Suitable for girls with menorrhagia or functional uterine bleeding.

5: Hawthorn, cinnamon and brown sugar soup

1: Ingredients: 15 grams of hawthorn meat, 5 grams of cinnamon twig, 30 grams of brown sugar. Method: (1) Wash the prepared hawthorn meat and cinnamon twigs and put them into a clay pot. Then add an appropriate amount of water and simmer over low heat until 1 bowl of water is left. (2) Add an appropriate amount of brown sugar and mix well, then boil and drink. Six: Braised black chicken with turtle skirt

1: Ingredients: 200g dried turtle skirt, 1000g black-bone chicken, 50g water-soaked black fungus, 5g shredded ham. Method: (1) After the turtle skirt has been soaked, wash and remove it. Heat the pan, add cooking oil, add ginger and scallions, stir-fry until fragrant, then add cooking wine, add water and bring to a boil. (2) Put the turtle skirt into the pot, simmer thoroughly, take it out, drain the water, cut into shreds, and soak in water. Kill the black chicken, remove the hair and internal organs, wash it, and then put it into the roasting pot. Add onion, ginger, cooking wine, salt, MSG, and broth, steam in a steamer for 1.5 hours, take out the chicken, cut it into shreds, and filter the original broth. (3) Put the shredded black fungus, turtle skirt and chicken into the pot together with the original soup, MSG, salt, pepper, sugar and soy sauce. (4) When the soup turns golden brown, thicken it with starch and add chicken oil. Remove from heat, pour into a bowl and sprinkle with shredded ham. Efficacy: Nourishing and strengthening, suitable for people with visceral yang deficiency, virtual fire or liver and kidney deficiency, irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, blood stasis and other diseases in women.

7. Clam Chowder

1: Ingredients: 15 fresh clams, 2 slices of ginger, 2 tablespoons of cooking wine, and appropriate amounts of salt and MSG. Preparation: (1) Soak the clams in clean water for 30 minutes to allow them to spit out all the mud and sand, then rinse them clean. (2) Prepare a pot of boiling water, add clams, ginger slices, and cooking wine into the water in order. When the clam shells are fully opened, add salt and MSG and it is ready to eat.
