Symptoms of temple pain

1. Pain in the temple

The incidence rate is high, especially among middle-aged and young people. Typical patients with temple pain mostly develop the disease during adolescence, and most of them have a family history. 20% of patients with partial temple pain have precursors during the attack, such as depression and "golden stars in front of the eyes".

Symptoms include starting from the back of one eye socket, gradually worsening and spreading to half of the side or even the entire head. The pain is usually pulsating. It is particularly likely to be triggered by mood swings, drinking or menstruation. The duration usually does not exceed 3 days.

2. Tension pain in the temple

It usually occurs when people are anxious, depressed, or nervous, and can also be caused by improper position of the head, neck, and shoulder blades.

The pain is mostly located in the back of the head and neck, sometimes in the forehead and temples, and is a persistent dull pain. The head may also be accompanied by a feeling of tightness and pressure. Generally, the head will start to feel uncomfortable after getting up, and the pain in the temples will gradually worsen or persist for a long time.
