The fastest treatment for cramps

When cramps occur, just do the opposite, that is, bend your toes in the direction opposite to the force and persist for more than 1 to 2 minutes, and the effect will be achieved.

Specifically, if the muscles in the back of the calf cramp, you can bend your foot so that the sole of your foot is lifted up, and at the same time try to straighten your knee joint; when the muscles in the front of the calf cramp, you can press down on the sole of your foot and bend your toes forcefully.

There are ways to prevent cramps

1. Keep warm and avoid cold. Especially during sleep.

2. Loosen the bedding. When lying on your back, the quilt may press on your feet, causing the gastrocnemius and plantar muscles to become tight. Tight muscles are prone to cramps.

3. Wear comfortable shoes. Flat feet and other anatomy problems make some people more susceptible to leg cramps. The right shoes are one way to make up for it.

4. Exercise appropriately and strengthen physical exercise and sports in daily life. Be sure to warm up before any activity to improve blood supply and enhance muscle contraction ability.

5. Drink plenty of water. If you are active and sweat a lot, you need to drink fluids to avoid dehydration, but don't drink too much.

6. Pregnant women should change their body posture frequently, move around every hour or so, wash their feet and calves with warm water before going to bed, and supplement nutrients including calcium according to the special needs of the body.

7. Take appropriate calcium supplements. Eat more vitamin D, calcium tablets, and calcium-rich foods such as milk, dried shrimps, kelp, tofu, etc.
