What is the best medicine for cold palace?

Women generally have the problem of uterine cold, but the degree varies. Uterine cold is very harmful. In addition to causing obesity and abdominal pain, it can also seriously affect fertility. Uterine cold is not a separate disease, but a disease name in traditional Chinese medicine. Medication is the best way, and it has very good results when combined with diet therapy. So, what is the best medicine for cold palace? Let’s take a closer look at the drugs for treating uterine cold.

1. Gonghan San is mainly used to treat symptoms caused by uterine cold, such as lower abdominal distension, epigastric pain, dysmenorrhea, cold lower abdomen, cold limbs, pale complexion, frequent urination, tasteless mouth, and preference for spicy and dry food. It is made of cuttlebone, wine-cooked peony root, rehmannia root, processed cyperus rotundus, evodia rutaecarpa, angelica dahurica, cnidium monnieri, charcoaled mugwort, and Polygonum multiflorum. Grind all the above medicines into fine powder, mix with rice vinegar, spread on the palm of your hand (right palm), and sweat all over your body.

2. Safflower warming egg: take an egg, make a hole in it, put in 1.5g of safflower, stir well and steam until cooked. Start taking it on the second day of menstruation, take one pill a day for 9 consecutive days, then wait until the second day of the next menstruation to start taking it again, and continue taking it for 3-4 menstrual cycles. It can disperse blood stasis and warm the uterus.

3. Bird's nest porridge. Bird's nest is both nutritious and mild, and can gently regulate your body. Soak the bird's nest in clean water, wash and drain, put it into a stewing pot together with lily and snow pear (with skin), cover the pot and simmer on low heat for 45 minutes. Add honey when eating.

4. Red ginger tea: take 50 grams of brown sugar (can be increased or decreased according to personal taste), 4 slices of peeled ginger, and cook on low heat for four to five minutes. Drink it for a few days when your period comes. I usually drink it about once a week. If you persist for a long time, the symptoms of uterine cold will be alleviated.

5. Use astragalus, jujube, or angelica to soak in water or decoct it to replenish qi and regulate blood, so that both qi and blood are abundant. This is also an effective way to expel uterine cold.

Recipes for uterine cold

1. Warm moxibustion with moxa sticks: Generally, two acupoints are selected: the Qihai point, which is 1.5 inches directly below the center of the navel, and the Guanyuan point, which is 3 inches directly below the center of the navel. Light one end of the moxa stick and hang it over the moxibustion area to perform moxibustion. Smoke and roast for 30 minutes every day and persist for a long time to be effective. It can also be used in conjunction with a moxibustion box.

2. Ginger moxibustion: Use moxa sticks mixed with ginger slices to warm the outside of the uterus. It should be noted that the ginger used for ginger moxibustion should be fresh old ginger, and it should be cut and used immediately. Dried ginger or young ginger should not be used. This therapy needs to be continued every night for half a year.

Steps of moxibustion to treat uterine coldness:

1. Cut the moxa stick into pieces about 2 centimeters long. If it is really difficult to cut, you can also take out the herbs and place them separately in amounts of about two centimeters.

2. It is best to cut the ginger slices into pieces of about 3-5 mm, which should be slightly larger than the cut moxa sticks. Use a toothpick to poke evenly distributed small holes in the ginger slices.

3. Place the cut moxa sticks on the ginger slices, light them over low heat, and wait until they start to burn and smoke.

4. Place the ginger slices with moxa sticks three inches below the navel, four to five slices at a time, and use the burning moxa sticks to warm the uterus through the small holes on the ginger slices.

5. It can be used when the moxa stick is burned out, but if you feel your skin is burning, you should change positions appropriately and be especially careful not to get burned.

3. Cupping: Cupping is performed on the back opposite to the waist and abdomen, extending down to the coccyx. Each cupping session should last 20-25 minutes, twice a day, for 3 consecutive days to significantly alleviate the symptoms of uterine cold.

4. Foot soaking: Boil water with mugwort, cinnamon and pepper, and use it to soak your feet. It has the function of warming the kidneys and dispersing cold, warming the meridians and dredging collaterals. Women with uterine cold can insist on soaking their feet in hot water every night. While soaking, you can use the Laogong points on both hands to press the Yongquan points on the soles of the feet, using the heart-kidney interaction method to drive away the cold.

5. Acupoint massage: As long as you massage your ring finger frequently and persist for a long time, it can not only relieve uterine cold, but also relieve colds, urgency and frequent urination and other symptoms. At the same time, you can also use both hands to massage the area around your navel for about 15 minutes until it becomes warm. This can not only drive away the cold, but also promote intestinal peristalsis and expel toxins from the body.

6. Keep your abdomen warm: Traditional Chinese medicine believes that when the weather is cold, the cold evil enters the surface. If you do not pay attention to keeping warm, the cold air will go inside and cause "uterine cold", causing delayed menstruation, dysmenorrhea and other diseases. Experts remind female friends, especially during menstruation, not to sit on cold stools for a long time, and to dress to ensure warmth in important parts such as the front, back, waist, and abdomen.
