Why does urticaria recur?

Many patients who have suffered from urticaria know that this is a skin disease that is prone to recurrence and difficult to treat completely. Sometimes, you don’t even know why red spots appear on your skin, you just know that it is red, itchy and very uncomfortable. In fact, the recurrence of urticaria is related to many reasons. So what are the specific reasons that cause urticaria to recur easily?

1. The rash is composed of wheals and erythematous spots of varying sizes and shapes. They often occur suddenly in batches and then disappear quickly after a few hours, leaving no trace. But it can recur;

2. Conscious itching, which may be accompanied by abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, chest tightness, palpitations, and dyspnea. A few may also have fever, swollen joints, hypotension, shock, laryngeal edema and suffocation symptoms;

3. The duration of the disease varies. Acute urticaria lasts less than 1 month, while chronic urticaria lasts more than 1 month.

4. Skin scratch test showed positive reaction in some cases;

Treatment of urticaria:

1. Oral antihistamines: such as loratadine, chlorpheniramine, cyproheptadine, etc., can compete for histamine in the body, thereby effectively relieving skin allergy symptoms. However, antihistamines do not inhibit the production of histamine and therefore cannot prevent recurrence of urticaria. Moreover, histamine products have a nerve-inhibiting effect, and adverse reactions such as dizziness and drowsiness are likely to occur after taking them. Long-term use can cause greater damage to the liver and kidneys.

2. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment: Some traditional Chinese medicines with heat-clearing and toxin-eliminating effects are often used for treatment. Although it can clear out the dampness, toxins and damp heat in the body, unclog the circulation channels in the body and achieve the improvement of eliminating toxins and purging fire, it does not change the root cause of urticaria and therefore cannot prevent its recurrence.

3. New concept in the treatment of urticaria: Due to the stimulation of allergens, the human immune function is disordered, which causes an abnormal increase in immunoglobulin E in the body. Repeated contact with allergens causes the body to produce a large amount of IgE antibodies and attach to immune cells for a long time, leading to the secretion of inflammatory mediators such as histamine, which is an immune response that damages the body. From the immunological point of view of urticaria, the fundamental treatment should be to control IgE and regulate the balance of immunoglobulins. IgE antibody immunomodulator (Xinminkang anti-allergic probiotics) Urticaria is mostly a type I immune allergic disease (also called IgE-mediated allergic reaction). The cause is relatively complicated and generally turns from acute urticaria to chronic urticaria with long-term recurring attacks and cannot be cured for a long time. People now only focus on symptom treatment for urticaria, but not on the allergic reaction itself: due to the stimulation of allergens, the human body's immune function is disordered, causing an abnormal increase in immunoglobulin E in the body. Repeated contact with allergens causes the body to produce a large amount of IgE antibodies and attach to immune cells for a long time, resulting in the secretion of inflammatory mediators such as histamine, an immune reaction that damages the body. From the immunology of urticaria, the root of the treatment should be to control IgE and regulate the balance of immunoglobulins. At present, the treatment of urticaria mostly stays in the inflammatory stage such as antihistamine. Some people will try to treat it by improving immunity, but allergies are not caused by low immunity. The imbalance of the body's five immunoglobulin secretions is the root cause of the disease. At present, international immunology research on the treatment of IgE anti-human antibodies that cause urticaria is to supplement a large amount of human anti-allergic probiotics Xinminkang to reduce the body's IgE antibodies, and regulate the balance of immunoglobulins by stimulating the secretion of interferon, so that the body's immune response can be restored to normal.
