The baby has a lot of red bumps on his body

Many babies have fragile skin and poor adaptability to the outside world, so they are prone to developing many small red bumps on their bodies. Especially in summer, these small bumps are more obvious. Some small bumps will be itchy, causing babies to scratch them frequently, and when they are scratched, they will look more serious. Parents often worry that these small bumps will cause harm to the baby's body. So what are these little bumps all about? Parents need to understand this.

1. Food allergy. Food-induced skin allergies.

2. Drug allergy. Using the wrong medicine can cause skin allergies.

3. Skin diseases. Rashes caused by common skin diseases such as allergic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, and diaper rash.

4. Infectious rash. Babies who are infected by viruses or bacteria often develop fever and rashes. Common rash include roseola and red crust rash.

5. Prickly heat. It is caused by excessive sweating in a hot and humid environment, which leads to poor evaporation of sweat, resulting in blockage and rupture of sweat ducts, and sweat seeping into the surrounding tissues.

6. For eczema, try to find the cause and eliminate it, pay attention to adjusting your diet, avoid spicy and stimulating foods, avoid eating items that are easily allergenic, such as alcohol, seafood and shellfish should be prohibited, eat a light diet as much as possible, minimize adverse external stimuli, such as scratching, external soap, hot water washing, etc.; clothing should be loose, light and soft, avoid wearing wool products or nylon fabrics. Try rubbing the affected area with eczema zinc ointment. In the child's case, it is probably urticaria, an allergic skin disease caused by contact with allergens. It manifests as red or white itchy wheals that appear and disappear from time to time. It can be treated with anti-allergic drugs. Keep the skin clean and dry, use anti-allergic drugs such as cetirizine for treatment as appropriate, use calamine lotion externally to relieve itching, pay attention to a light diet, change clothes frequently, and dry bedding frequently.
