Can I take a hot spring bath on a rainy day?

We all know that hot springs are a great place for leisure and health preservation, because many hot springs are functional, such as beauty hot springs, which can help people improve their skin condition and are especially suitable for women who love beauty. Some hot springs that treat diseases are especially suitable for patients with certain diseases. In many areas, hot springs are outdoors, so the question is, can we take a hot spring bath on rainy days?

It is suitable to take a hot spring bath indoors on rainy days, but not suitable to take a hot spring bath outdoors.

The purpose of taking a hot spring bath is to increase immunity and promote blood circulation. While helping the body's metabolism, the capillaries open and release heat. If rain water comes into contact with the body at this time, you may catch a cold.

Notes for hot spring bathing:

Before taking a hot spring bath, it is best to understand the types of hot springs and choose one according to your own conditions to truly achieve the intended purpose of taking a hot spring bath and avoid causing harm to your body. Choose a hot spring pool, generally from low temperature to high temperature.

Don't do strenuous exercise before taking a hot spring bath. Because exercise will increase your heart rate and blood flow, and the heat of the hot spring is not good for your body; after exercise, it is best to rest for 10-20 minutes before taking a hot spring bath.

Avoid taking a hot spring bath on an empty stomach, after a meal, or after drinking alcohol. There should be at least one hour between taking a hot spring bath and eating.

Be sure to remember to take off any metal jewelry on your body, otherwise the jewelry will be sulfurized and turn black.

Each session should not exceed 15 minutes. Replenish water in time to prevent dehydration. The longer you soak in a hot spring, the better. When taking a hot spring bath, you should remember one principle: the water temperature should be inversely proportional to the soaking time. Each time should be controlled within half an hour, and a maximum of three times a day. The best state for bathing is to sweat a little, but not profusely.

When soaking in a hot spring, remember to close your eyes, take a few slow, deep breaths in a meditative mood, and truly release your physical and mental stress.

Do not use shower gel or soap when bathing after taking a hot spring bath. After soaking in the hot springs, many tourists will take a shower, but it is best not to use shower gel or other cleaning substances when showering. Doing so will accelerate the loss of minerals attached to the skin and reduce the medicinal value of the hot spring.
