What indicators should be observed for blood viscosity

Thick blood is a symptom, also called blood viscosity, which mainly refers to the viscosity of blood. The main reason affecting blood viscosity is the aggregation of red blood cells. In addition, changes in the volume, size and shape of red blood cells can also cause such a phenomenon. This is also called hyperviscosity in clinical practice. Once patients have this disease, they often suffer from dizziness, nausea, vertigo and other symptoms.

What indicators should be observed for blood viscosity

Blood viscosity is the abbreviation of blood viscosity and is one of the indicators reflecting blood viscosity. The main factors affecting blood viscosity include: red blood cell aggregation and deformability, hematocrit, size and shape, the content of cholesterol, triglycerides and fibrinogen in the blood, etc.

Hyperviscosity (or hyperviscosity) is a clinical pathological syndrome characterized by abnormal blood rheology parameters, caused by an increase in one or more blood viscosity factors, which makes the blood excessively viscous and slows blood flow. In layman's terms, the blood is too viscous. This is because the red blood cells in the blood aggregate into clusters and lose the necessary gaps and distances, or the red blood cells in the blood have a reduced ability to bend and deform when passing through tiny capillaries, which increases the viscosity of the blood, increases circulation resistance, and causes poor microcirculation blood flow.

Symptoms of thick blood

1. Sudden dizziness and blurred vision. The visual nerve relies on blood to maintain its working state. When the blood is viscous and cannot be supplied in time, it will cause temporary ischemia of the optic nerve, resulting in temporary visual blindness.

2. Dizziness and chest tightness when squatting. Some elderly people often experience dizziness and chest tightness when squatting. This is all because the blood returning to the heart is reduced. In addition, if the blood is viscous, the blood flow rate is slower, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the heart and brain, causing these problems.

3. Dizziness when waking up in the morning. Generally speaking, when people go to bed at night, the blood flow will become slower after lying down. On the second day, I started to speed up, but because the blood was thick, I started too slowly and couldn't supply blood to the brain in time, which caused dizziness.

4. Feeling sleepy after eating beef rice Normally, we all want to take a nap after eating, but people with high blood viscosity must sleep, otherwise they will be dozing off the whole afternoon and can’t stay up at all!
