What causes a swollen butthole?
The anus is a relatively private part of our body. In life, many people do not pay special attention to the care of the anus, which often leads to some diseases in the anus. Anal swelling and pain is a relatively common anal disease. Of course, there are many causes of anal diseases. Of course, it has a certain relationship with the patient's living habits and eating habits. When suffering from anal swelling and pain, it must be treated in time.

1. Pain caused by anal fissure: The pain caused by anal fissure mostly occurs during or after defecation and is cyclical. The pain is usually burning or knife-like, sometimes lasting for several minutes and relieved after defecation. In severe cases, the pain can last for several hours, making the patient restless and extremely painful. In addition, patients with anal fissure also have symptoms such as bleeding and constipation. 2. Thrombosed external hemorrhoids: External hemorrhoid pain is the main symptom. The patient will feel a foreign body sensation and also experience bloating and pain. A thrombosis is formed when the veins around the anus rupture and blood clots gather together. The pain is worse with activity.

3. Perianal abscess: The patient presents with localized suppurative infection and persistent pain in the anus. When the pain worsens, the patient becomes restless, has loss of appetite, and is often accompanied by fever. 4. Internal hemorrhoid incarceration: As the hemorrhoids continue to grow, tissue circulation is restricted and they protrude out of the anus, and the hemorrhoids cannot be retracted. This causes hemorrhoids to be sandwiched in the middle of the anus, which can easily cause infection, inflammation, swelling, and bleeding due to friction from external forces, with symptoms mainly including distending pain and burning pain. 5. Rectal cancer: There is no pain in the early stages of rectal cancer. As the disease progresses, the tumor will grow larger and ulcerate, and symptoms such as anal distension, dull pain, bloody stools, abdominal distension, and weight loss may appear. 6. Foreign body sensation in the anus is mostly caused by residual foreign bodies from trauma or improper diet, or fish bones or bone fragments embedded in the anal canal and rectum. Therefore, you need to ask a doctor to check carefully and remove the foreign body, and the pain will be relieved. If the retention time is too long, it may cause local infection.

The hazards of anal swelling and pain 1. Perianal suppurative infection: This disease is the most common, accounting for more than 70%. It is caused by tissue damage and infection in the anal crypts and perianal area, leading to the expansion of inflammation. Most patients with this disease are prone to develop paraanal fistulas over time. 2. Perianal inflammatory cysts: They are mostly caused by obstruction of the perianal sebaceous glands, which leads to stagnation of the secreted sebum, resulting in secondary infection of the swelling and pain. The swelling and pain of this disease are limited in range, and the pus is in the form of bean curd dregs. During surgery, the cyst wall tissue must be thoroughly removed, otherwise it is easy to recur. 3. External hemorrhoid inflammation: This disease is more common, mainly because after suffering from external hemorrhoids, the patient is not treated in time and does not pay attention to proper rest. The friction and irritation of the affected area causes infection, pain, pus discharge, etc. 4. Postoperative infection of anorectal disease: It is more common after surgery for more complicated anorectal diseases. Generally, the sore surface is larger, the patient’s cooperation is insufficient, the frequency of bowel movements increases, the pain intensifies, and there is a high fever. Therefore, patients with anorectal disease should be closely observed for several days after surgery, and appropriate Chinese medicine for clearing heat and detoxifying should be used to prevent infection. 5. Cancerous lesions in the anorectal area: common in the middle and late stages of anorectal disease, the surface of the tumor is infected and eroded, leading to pain, bleeding, and increased purulent secretions.
