What is Kyphosis

How to improve spinal herniation

1. Improve your working posture and pay attention to the combination of work and rest.

Maintaining correct posture is very important to reduce pressure within the lumbar discs. Pay attention to self-regulation, avoid long-term repetitive and monotonous movements, prevent excessive fatigue, and avoid spinal overload, so as not to promote and accelerate degeneration. People who bend over for long periods of time or work at a desk can change their sitting posture by adjusting the height of the chair and the table, and stand up and stretch their waist regularly. It is generally recommended to stand up and move around for 15 minutes after 45 minutes of sitting to allow tired muscles to recover.

2. Strengthen waist and back muscle training.

Strong back muscles maintain and protect the lumbar spine, so strengthening back muscle exercises is an important measure to prevent kyphosis. Some sports, such as swimming and aerobics, can exercise the waist and back muscles. When doing prone position, lift your head, legs, feet and arms as high as possible. One up and one down is one beat. Exercise 4 times with 8 beats each time, 1 to 2 times a day. If conditions permit, swimming regularly is the best way to exercise the lumbar spine and prevent kyphosis. Swimming is suitable for people of all ages and is a non-weight-bearing activity. It requires a lot of exercise, is not easy to get tired, is not likely to cause accidental injuries, and can also relieve mental stress.

3. Live a regular life and eat a balanced diet.

We should develop good living and working habits, have regular daily routines and diets, reduce staying up all night, especially avoid sitting in front of the computer all night to work or play games; many young people do not eat breakfast, this habit is very unscientific, we should eat regularly, pay attention to breakfast intake, consume more high-protein and high-vitamin foods, and eat more fruits and vegetables. At the same time, we should pay attention to regulating psychological pressure and maintain a pleasant working and living mood.
