In our lives, moxibustion is a treatment method derived from traditional Chinese medicine. As time goes by, it is no longer acupuncture. Relatively speaking, moxibustion and spreading moxibustion are the most common and have a wide range of applications. However, there are many things to pay attention to when doing moxibustion. After all, how is moxibustion done? And what are its practical effects?

Spread moxibustion is one of the moxibustion methods. That is, long snake moxibustion, also known as garlic paste moxibustion, is a moxibustion method discovered and summarized by acupuncture practitioners in Zhejiang Province of my country from traditional and folk methods.

The acupoints mostly used are the Du meridian section between Dazhui and Yaoshu, and moxibustion can be performed on the entire section or in sections. It is the moxibustion method with the largest moxibustion range and the longest treatment time. This method has attracted attention in the acupuncture community since it was reported in the mid-1980s for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Studies have shown that long snake moxibustion can, to a certain extent, regulate the body's immune function, specifically by enhancing cellular immunity and inhibiting humoral immunity.

Effects and indications of thermal moxibustion:

(1) Immune system diseases:

Thermosensitive moxibustion can affect the body's immune function, regulate the body's immune function, enhance cellular immunity and inhibit humoral immunity. It has ideal short-term and long-term effects and no side effects. It is effective in treating ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis and other immune system diseases.

(2) Gynecological diseases:

Thermosensitive moxibustion on the Ren meridian can warm the palace and dispel cold, dredge the meridians, harmonize qi and blood, strengthen the body and eliminate evil, regulate the functions of internal organs, and balance yin and yang. The Ren Meridian is connected to the six Yin Meridians and is called the "Sea of ​​Yin Meridians". It has the function of regulating the Yin meridians throughout the body. It is mainly used to treat female menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, uterine cold, pelvic effusion, gynecological inflammation, and improve breast hyperplasia and other diseases.
