The heart is a very important organ in the human body. If you find that your heart is hurting, you should first go to the hospital to check if it is a heart disease. If it is, you must pay attention. Intermittent heart pain may also be coronary heart disease or angina pectoris. If these conditions are ruled out, then after the examination results are out, you must seek timely treatment and cooperate with the doctor to actively cure your disease. Physical health is the most important thing. The heart feels like it is being pricked by needles. It is necessary to clarify the cause of the pain, its duration and how to relieve it. In typical angina pectoris, the location is mostly behind the sternum. The nature of the pain is mostly compressive or burning. There are usually clear triggering factors such as activity fatigue or emotional excitement. The duration usually ranges from a few minutes to more than ten minutes, and rarely exceeds half an hour. Resting or taking coronary dilator drugs such as nitrates can relieve symptoms. At present, the diagnosis of coronary heart disease cannot be completely confirmed, nor can it be completely ruled out. If you want to further clarify the diagnosis, you need to combine the medical history and past history (hypertension, diabetes). It is recommended to have an electrocardiogram, preferably when the symptoms occur. If necessary, a 24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram can be performed. The diseases that need to be identified mainly include costochondritis, costal neuritis, pulmonary embolism, etc. Clinically, there are many diseases that can cause paroxysmal needle-like pain in the heart. Generally, differential diagnosis is based on the specific location of the heart pain, the nature of the pain, the duration of the pain, accompanying symptoms, inducing factors, and alleviating factors. Taking angina pectoris caused by coronary heart disease as an example, patients often experience pin-and-needle pain in the precordial area when they are active or emotionally excited, accompanied by palpitations and chest tightness, which lasts for several minutes each time. The symptoms can be relieved after resting or taking nitroglycerin. The electrocardiogram shows obvious depression or elevation of the ST segment accompanied by inversion of the T wave. In addition, the above symptoms are also common in diseases such as acute myocardial infarction, aortic dissection, pulmonary embolism, pericarditis, pleurisy, costitis, intercostal neuralgia, and herpes zoster. Needle-like pain in the heart area is not a big deal if a heart examination has ruled out heart disease. It is usually just intercostal neuralgia or costochondritis. If you are worried, you can go to the hospital for an X-ray to confirm. During the pain attack, you can apply Voltaren ointment topically to improve the symptoms. If this situation occurs frequently, you should pay attention to whether there is any organic problem with the heart. If it only happens occasionally, it may be caused by being too tired recently or doing excessive strenuous exercise. It should be fine after a good rest for a while. |
