What is the reason for the lower body odor

Under normal circumstances, a woman's vagina should not have any odor. If you find that your lower body has a serious odor, and even if you wash it every day and change your underwear every day but it doesn't work, you must go to the hospital for a gynecological examination in time, because the odor in the lower body may be caused by inflammatory stimulation. Patients must pay more attention to personal hygiene, do not take medicine indiscriminately, and change their underwear frequently and drink more boiled water.

1. Suffering from bacterial vaginosis

Symptom analysis: Bacterial vaginosis will increase women's leucorrhea and emit a foul odor from the private parts. It is a pathological condition caused by the destruction of the vaginal environment and changes in acidity and alkalinity; it is not called vaginitis because there is no inflammatory reaction in the vaginal mucosa.

Solution: Do not repeatedly douch the vagina, abuse drugs, etc.; adult women should clean the vagina in time after sexual intercourse; it is best not to have sexual intercourse before bacterial vaginosis is cured.

2. Unpleasant odor during menstruation

Symptom analysis: The reason why menstruation produces odor is mainly because it is mixed with blood, endometrial and sebaceous gland secretions and sweat, so there is a more obvious odor.

Solution: The best way is to improve your own hygiene, do local cleaning every day; use cotton underwear; and change sanitary napkins as often as possible, no more than 4 hours each time.

3. Vaginitis

Symptom analysis: The private odor caused by vaginitis may have three kinds of odors. If it develops into a foul odor, it is likely to be a symptom of a malignant tumor and you should seek medical examination and treatment in time.

(1) Fishy smell: Some vaginitis is caused by Haemophilus vaginalis, and the vaginal discharge has a special fishy smell. At the same time, it is accompanied by symptoms such as vaginal burning, pain, itching, and vulva moisture.

(2) Fishy smell: In cases of vaginitis caused by some anaerobic bacteria, Trichomonas infection or Haemophilus vaginalis infection, the leucorrhea often has a fishy smell.

(3) Foul odor: Foul-smelling leucorrhea is often caused by severe infection or tumor of the reproductive tract. Such as malignant tumors of the reproductive tract, severe endometritis, and severe cervical erosion. Especially for elderly women, if the vaginal discharge has a foul odor and is bright red in color, it is often a sign of a malignant tumor.
