Pneumonia is a common disease among people. If you eat spicy and irritating foods for a long time or come into contact with irritating substances, it is very easy to develop pneumonia. If you suspect you have pneumonia, you should go to the hospital for an X-ray. Some patients' films showed inflammation of the upper right lung, which means that a part of the lung organ is inflamed and needs to be treated as soon as possible. So, how should inflammation of the upper right lung be treated? First: Reduce exposure to fungal and bacterial pathogens. Pathogens are microorganisms that can cause disease. Certain types of bacteria and fungi can cause lung inflammation. Keep humidity between 30-60%. If mold is found, wash the affected surface with detergent and dry the surface completely. Prevent condensation by properly insulating the area. Avoid installing carpet in bathrooms or kitchens, as splashes from the sink may make the carpet damp. When cleaning moldy areas, use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as a mask or respirator. Second: Reduce exposure and susceptibility to viral pathogens. Flu is a common cause of pneumonia, an infection and inflammation of the lungs. Most cases of the flu do not lead to pneumonia, but those that do can be very serious. Both influenza and pneumonia can be prevented with vaccines. Talk to your healthcare provider to find out if you are a candidate for flu and/or pneumonia vaccination. Avoid contact with people who have influenza and/or pneumonia. If you must come into contact with someone with the flu and/or pneumonia, wear appropriate protection such as a mask, gloves, or gown. Third: Reduce exposure to ambient air pollutants. Outdoor air pollutants are found outdoors and originate from natural processes, fires, and industrial operations. Six pollutants are designated as air pollutant standards by the U.S. EPA. These include nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, ozone, particulate matter, carbon monoxide, and lead. These are monitored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and are subject to a number of rules and regulations. Particles smaller than 10 microns are particularly harmful because they can penetrate deep into the lungs. Exposure can be particularly problematic for those with existing lung conditions. Note: Exposure to indoor air pollutants can cause headaches, fatigue, and other nonspecific symptoms. This sometimes resulted in the entire construction workforce becoming sick. Common indoor air pollutants include combustion products, volatile organic compounds, and formaldehyde. Clean your home properly with clean outdoor air. If possible, eliminate the source of the contamination. Install a household air filter. |
