What to use to treat eye inflammation

The eyes are a relatively sensitive part, so generally speaking, even a slight stimulation will cause severe discomfort in the eyes. When some accidental trauma causes the eyes to be broken, some methods need to be used to reduce inflammation. You can use medical alcohol, iodine tincture, etc. to wipe the outside that is far away from the eyeball, or you can take oral anti-inflammatory drugs to achieve the purpose of reducing inflammation, or in more serious cases, you need to inject drugs or infuse them to reduce inflammation.

1. First, look at the location of the scratch to see if it affects vision, whether it is on the eyelid, conjunctiva or cornea. If it is on the eyelid, local disinfection and oral administration of general anti-inflammatory drugs (such as amoxicillin) will be sufficient. If it is on the conjunctiva, antibiotic eye drops can be used. If it is on the cornea, it will affect vision. Antibiotic eye drops and eye ointment can be used. At the same time, drugs that promote corneal growth (such as Corneal Ning eye drops, Jinyinshu or Beifushu eye drops) should be used. At the same time, oral antibiotics and Mingmu Jue Pills, Xiaomeng Tablets, etc. should be taken to minimize corneal clouding.

2. After stitches are done on the eyes, the wound should not be exposed to water. You can take cephalosporin anti-inflammatory drugs orally and apply ofloxacin eye ointment in the eyes. Pay attention to resting your eyes and avoid over-straining your eyes.

3. In this case, it is recommended to use oral antibiotics for observation for two to three days. If there is no improvement, you need to go to the surgical department for regular treatment. It is recommended to take oral cephalosporins or quinolone antibiotics for treatment and observation. For example, levofloxacin can be used. Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited during antibiotic treatment.

4. The skin around the eyes was slightly abraded and is now a little swollen. This is a normal reaction after an abrasion. If you are in good health and do not take anti-inflammatory drugs frequently, you only need to take amoxicillin for three days to achieve a good anti-infection effect. It's just a scratch on the corner of the eyebrow. In the case where the wound has been sutured, you should pay attention to changing the dressing regularly and take amoxicillin capsules orally. Be careful not to eat spicy or irritating foods. Generally speaking, the stitches can be removed in a week.

5. If the skin above the corner of the eyebrow is scratched, you can apply some iodine to disinfect it. It is recommended to pay attention to disinfection and avoid getting it wet. You can take some amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium tablets orally. You can take it with general anti-inflammatory drugs. Recovery takes time, so don't be in a hurry. Generally, if you need to take medicine, the doctor will prescribe it. It is recommended that you eat less spicy food, quit smoking and drinking, drink plenty of water, eat regularly, eat more vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins, and eat a nutritious diet to facilitate wound recovery. Regular check-ups can be used in conjunction with cefadroxil.

6. In this case, if you are not allergic, you can consider oral cephalosporin anti-inflammatory drugs and topical erythromycin eye ointment for conditioning treatment. Avoid spicy food, fishy smell, tobacco and alcohol.
