1. Seed treatment: Soak the Scutellaria seeds in 40-45℃ warm water for 5-6 hours or in drinking water at room temperature for 12-24 hours. Take them out and let them dry slightly. Place them at around 20℃ to moisturize and promote germination. When some seeds crack and sprout, they can be planted.

2. Planting time: Bupleurum is generally planted in spring from March to April, and in autumn from September to October. Under the condition that the soil moisture content is guaranteed, it is best to plant around mid-to-late April when the soil temperature 5 cm below the ground is stable at 15°C. There are three planting methods: scattering, broadcasting, and hole sowing. Shallow sowing is better than deep sowing.
