Can garlic cure mouth ulcers?

Garlic is a food that people often eat in their daily lives, and its main function is to be used as a seasoning. Of course, in addition to this, because garlic has a strong bactericidal effect, many people also use garlic to treat diseases. For patients with oral ulcers, garlic can be used to treat this disease. So, how to use garlic to treat oral ulcers? This will be introduced below.

1. Garlic Mask Patch

Take a clove of garlic, peel off the dry skin, you can see a layer of crystal clear film wrapped on the garlic flesh, peel off this film and stick it on the ulcer.

Oral ulcers are actually superficial inflammation of the oral mucosa. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that garlic is pungent and hot in nature, so applying garlic film to the wound has the effect of killing bacteria, expelling insects, reducing swelling and detoxifying.

2. Drink tomato juice

Juicing tomatoes, grapefruit, and pears can also relieve oral ulcers. The lycopene in tomatoes can improve immunity; pears have been considered by Chinese medicine since ancient times as the first choice for nourishing yin and moistening dryness; grapefruit flesh can regulate qi and clear the liver, and when mixed together and squeezed into juice, the effect of removing heat is doubled!

3. Honey Juice

Honey has the effect of clearing away heat and detoxifying when taken internally, and can heal sores, relieve pain and promote cell regeneration when applied externally. To treat oral ulcers, you can gargle with 10% honey juice; or wash your mouth clean and use a sterilized cotton swab dipped in honey to apply it to the ulcer surface. Do not eat after application. After 15 minutes, you can swallow the honey with water and continue applying it. This can be repeated several times a day.

4. Eggs

Beat the eggs into a bowl and mix into a paste. Put an appropriate amount of mung beans in a ceramic pot and soak them in cold water for more than ten minutes. Put on the fire and boil for about 1.5 minutes (do not cook for too long). At this time, the mung beans are not cooked. Take the mung bean water and mix it with frangipani to drink. Do this once in the morning and evening every day. It is effective in treating oral ulcers.

5. Walnut

Use 8 to 10 walnuts, smash them open, remove the flesh and take out the walnut shells, boil them with water for 20 minutes, and drink this water instead of tea. You will see results on the same day, the pain will be relieved, and the ulcer surface will shrink. Taking it for 3 consecutive days will basically cure the disease. If applied as a powder, its effect will be better.

6. Vitamin C tablets

Crush the vitamin C tablet into powder and apply it to the affected area. It will be effective after one or two times. You can also grind vitamin C into powder. If it is a small ulcer, just apply a small amount to the affected area. If the ulcer is large, you should first gently scrape off the exudate from the ulcer surface, and then apply the powder. Take the medicine 2 to 3 times a day. For small ulcers, it can be cured after 1 to 2 times of medication. For large ulcers, it can be cured after 2 to 3 times of medication. The pain can be significantly relieved and the ulcer surface can be healed in 2 to 3 days.
