This will achieve a stronger effect of replenishing blood and qi. Zhang Zhongjing said: "For patients with fever, blood loss, and slow pulse after sweating, and those with cold body, weak pulse, and deficiency of both qi and blood due to diarrhea, add wild ginseng. Ancient people learned to nourish blood, because blood is not on its own, and it needs blood-invigorating medicines to be produced. When yang is produced, yin grows, and blood is prosperous. If only blood-invigorating medicines are used, blood will have no way to be produced. "Su Wen" said: Without yin, how can yin be produced; without yin, how can yang be transformed. Therefore, wild ginseng is used to replenish qi and blood, and those with deficiency of both qi and blood need to use it."
