People's normal urine should fluctuate between clear and yellow, but some people always have some milky white liquid at the urethra opening after getting up in the morning, and there will also be white drops when urinating. This depends on whether the man has had sexual intercourse. It is normal to have such a phenomenon during this period. It is not ruled out that it is related to intestinal prostate function and urethritis. 1. Normal sexual fluid: Milky white fluid flows out of the male urethra during sexual intercourse. There is a gland called paraurethral gland distributed in the male penis. When the penis is erect due to sexual excitement, the congested corpus cavernosum compresses the paraurethral gland, causing its secretions to flow out of the urethra, lubricating the glans and preparing for sexual intercourse. However, when there is no sexual desire and milky white liquid flows out of the urethra, it may be a symptom of disease. 2. Chronic prostatitis: Due to congestion, swelling and increased secretion of the prostate, a small amount of white liquid may frequently flow out of the urethra in the morning, at the end of urination or when defecating. This is called prostatic discharge, also called white dripping. It is a reference indicator for diagnosing chronic prostatitis. Since normal defecation does not require much force, this white dripping phenomenon may not occur, or even if it occurs, it may not attract people's attention. However, when constipation or prostate inflammation occurs, this white discharge phenomenon is very common. Frequent white discharge, large amounts of turbid liquid, and other corresponding symptoms may indicate chronic prostatitis. If the white discharge is serious, it must be treated early. Long-term discharge of prostatic fluid will have a great impact on sexual function. 3. Urethritis: If there is a large amount of white secretions flowing out of the urethra, accompanied by obvious symptoms such as urgency, frequency, and pain when urinating, and there is a history of unclean sexual intercourse, it is mostly gonococcal urethritis; if there is less secretion but there is obvious urinary tract irritation and a history of unclean sexual intercourse, it is possible that you have non-gonococcal urethritis. Both of these conditions are sexually transmitted diseases and should be treated as soon as possible, otherwise, there is a possibility of developing chronic prostatitis. |
