Neurofibroma

Neurofibroma

There are many types of diseases. Common diseases in life are all very simple diseases. They are also easy to treat and not very complicated. For example, diseases such as colds, coughs, and fevers are not very harmful to human health, but they must be treated actively. Neurofibromatosis is a complex disease, and the treatment of such diseases also requires good methods.

So how to treat neurofibroma? There are some unique ways to treat this disease. However, when it comes to this disease, patients also need to actively cooperate, which will help improve the disease.

Neurofibroma:

Neurofibroma is also known as neurofibroma, neuroma, perineural fibroma, Schwann cell tumor, and perineural fibroblastoma. This disease has many names, reflecting different views on its origin, which can be summarized into the following categories: Category 1: neurofibroma or Schwann cell tumor; Category 2: neurofibroma or perineural fibroblastoma, which refers to the connective tissue in which the tumor cells deepen from the neural mesoderm. Neurofibromas can arise from peripheral nerves, cranial nerves, and sympathetic nerves. During diagnostic examinations, the tumor is pink or grayish white, with a broad, flat base that is not easily movable or has a pedicle and is hard in texture. Pathological examination is required to confirm the diagnosis.

Treatment

It is not sensitive to radiation and should be removed surgically. The surgical approach can be through the anterior nasal cavity, through the lateral nasal incision, through the external nasal and ethmoid sinus approach, or through the Colu surgical resection, depending on the situation. The midface debulking surgery has the advantages of a wide field of view and no scars on the face after surgery. It is the best procedure for removing neurofibromas in the nasal cavity and sinus areas.

Through the above introduction, we have a good understanding of neurofibromatosis. Once such a disease occurs, it needs to be treated immediately, which will be of great help in controlling the disease. However, it should be noted that the treatment of such a disease must be carried out for a long time.
