There are many reasons for the formation of scars, so when removing scars, you need to choose a good method. Now some scar removal products are a good choice. What about surgical scar repair? This method is also very good.

When it comes to scar removal, you can choose according to your own needs. However, when it comes to surgical scar repair, you must have a good understanding of this method so that you can use it with confidence.

Surgical scar repair drugs:

① Steroid drugs are mainly used by local injection into scars or prepared into creams, ointments, and then applied or patched. It is suitable for hypertrophic scars and keloids, with obvious effects. Due to the effects of the drug itself, or excessive injection dosage, incorrect method, and different patient sensitivities, local or systemic side effects may occur after taking the drug, such as: local capillary dilation, pigmentation, loss, menstrual disorders in women, etc. The above side effects will disappear within 1-6 months after stopping the medication.

② Silicon preparations. The most commonly used ones are scar-killing agents, silicone creams, and scar inhibitors. They can be applied externally, spread, or sprayed to form a film. They are easy to use, simple, non-toxic, non-irritating, and cause no local discomfort, but they are slow to show effects. Suitable for any scars. In addition, there are Centella asiatica drugs, calcium channel blockers, anti-allergic drugs, anti-tumor drugs, immunosuppressants, traditional Chinese medicine, etc., which are not commonly used in clinical practice.

Although drug injection can make scars softer and flatter and completely eliminate itching and pain symptoms, the skin often leaves varying degrees of depigmentation or deposition after treatment, affecting the appearance, especially for young women with scars in exposed areas. In this case, the scars can be removed surgically and carefully sutured based on the effective inhibition of scar proliferation by drug injection to achieve a perfect appearance.

Through the above introduction, we have a good understanding of surgical scar repair drugs. When repairing such scars, drug selection is also very critical, so that scar repair can achieve good results. However, it should be noted that it takes some time to eliminate scars, so don't be in a hurry when eliminating scars.
