Dosage

1. Hemostasis: intramuscular injection of 4 mg each time, 2 or 3 times a day. To prevent neonatal bleeding, 2 to 4 mg can be given intramuscularly to pregnant women one week before delivery. 2. Biliary colic: intramuscular injection of 8-16 mg each time. 3. Oral administration: 4 mg each time, 3 times a day. 4. As a feed additive, add about 2 grams per ton of feed.

Precautions

1. May cause gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea and vomiting.

2. Large doses may cause hemolytic anemia, hyperbilirubinemia and jaundice in newborns and premature infants. In patients with erythrocyte 6-phosphate glucose dehydrogenase deficiency, acute hemolytic anemia can be induced.

3. Can cause liver damage. Use with caution in patients with severe liver disease.
