Abdominal pain is a common abdominal disease, which is caused by many abdominal organs. For example, stomach problems or intestinal diseases, nowadays many foods or other organ injuries can cause abdominal pain, which is what we call stomach pain. Abdominal pain is a subjective feeling and a psychological factor caused by the conduction of the nervous system. Many patients have different sensitivities to pain. Clinically, abdominal pain is divided into acute and chronic. Different locations are generally manifested in the location of the abdominal lesions. Many patients are more concerned about what to do when they have stomach pain. Generally, in clinical practice, stomach pain is examined and diagnosed by a doctor, and then a decision is made whether to use medication or surgery. Because the causes of stomach pain are different, a comprehensive examination is still necessary for what to do when they have stomach pain. Laboratory tests: 1. Routine blood, urine, stool tests, ketone bodies and serum amylase are the most commonly used laboratory tests. 2. Diagnostic puncture can be performed for peritonitis, internal bleeding, abdominal abscess and certain abdominal masses, and routine smear, bacterial culture or pathological examination can be performed on the punctured material. Other auxiliary examinations: 1. When X-ray examination is difficult to diagnose and there is suspected chest and abdominal lesions, chest and abdominal fluoroscopy can be performed to observe whether there are lesions in the chest, whether there is free gas under the diaphragm, changes in diaphragmatic movement, whether there is intestinal gas and fluid level, etc. If there are abnormalities, routine X-rays should be taken. When sigmoid colon volvulus or low intussusception is suspected, barium enema examination can be performed; barium meal examination is not suitable for patients suspected of intestinal obstruction, fistula or perforation. 2. Ultrasound examination is mainly used to examine bile duct and urinary system stones, bile duct dilatation, pancreatic and hepatosplenomegaly, etc. It also has good diagnostic value for small amounts of abdominal effusion, intra-abdominal cysts and inflammatory tumors. 3. Endoscopic examination Endoscopic examination has become an important means to find the cause of abdominal pain. If the patient's condition permits, retrograde pancreaticocholangiopancreatography, cystoscopy and laparoscopy can also be performed. 4. CT, MRI and radionuclide scanning examinations have good diagnostic value for intra-abdominal and retroperitoneal lesions, such as lesions of the liver, spleen, pancreas, some intra-abdominal tumors, and abdominal abscesses, effusions, and gas accumulation. They should be selected and used reasonably according to the condition of the disease. 5. Electrocardiogram examination: For older patients, an electrocardiogram should be performed to understand the blood supply to the myocardium and to rule out myocardial infarction and angina pectoris. The above are common methods for checking abdominal pain. What should you do if you have abdominal pain? First, clinical examinations should be performed, such as routine blood and urine tests, and some lesions in other abdominal organs, so some X-ray examinations or B-ultrasound examinations should be performed. There are also many endoscopic examinations to check whether the abdominal pain is caused by intestinal damage, and metastatic abdominal pain caused by angina pectoris caused by electrocardiogram. Therefore, if you find abdominal pain, you must seek medical attention in time and do not take medicine casually. |
