Mild abnormal liver function

Mild abnormal liver function

Abnormal liver function is mainly caused by some common digestive tract disorders and some decreased liver function, and the damage to cells will lead to the occurrence of some other types of diseases. Therefore, in daily life, we must pay attention to the abnormal liver function, which is also a common disease. Some other types of manifestations of mild abnormal liver function include rough skin or edema, skin bleeding, osteoporosis, and it will also cause bleeding gums, etc.

There are many causes in daily life, mainly chemical drugs, some functional abnormalities and malnutrition, which can lead to some functional abnormalities, so timely prevention and care must be carried out in daily life, if some other types of diseases occur due to liver dysfunction.

1. Infection with parasites (schistosoma japonicum, sinensis, amoeba), leptospira, bacteria, and viruses can all cause liver damage; viruses are the most common (such as viral hepatitis).

2. Poisoning by chemical drugs such as carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, phosphorus, antimony, arsenic, etc. can often destroy the enzyme system of liver cells, cause metabolic disorders, or inhibit the oxidative phosphorylation process, reduce ATP production, and lead to liver cell degeneration and necrosis; some drugs, such as chlorpromazine, aminosalic acid, isoniazid, certain iodine amine drugs and antibiotics (such as tetracycline), even at therapeutic doses can cause liver damage in a few people, which may be related to allergies.

3. Abnormal immune function Liver disease can cause abnormal immune response, which is one of the important causes of liver damage. For example, the humoral immunity and cellular immunity caused by hepatitis B virus can damage liver cells; the surface antigen (HBsAg), core antigen (HBcAg), and E antigen (HbeAg) of hepatitis B virus can bind to the surface of liver cells, change the antigenicity of the liver cell membrane, and cause autoimmunity. Another example is primary biliary cirrhosis, in which the patient's blood contains multiple antibodies (anti-bile duct antibodies, anti-mitochondrial antibodies, anti-smooth muscle antibodies, anti-nuclear antibodies, etc.), which may also be an autoimmune disease.

4. Malnutrition and lack of choline and methionine can cause fatty changes in the liver. This is because the transport of fat within the liver must first be converted into phospholipids (mainly lecithin), and choline is an essential component of lecithin. Methionine provides the methyl group for the synthesis of choline. When these substances are deficient, fat removal from the liver is impaired, resulting in fatty changes of the liver.

5. Biliary obstruction Biliary obstruction (such as stones, tumors, ascariasis, etc.) causes bile stasis. If it lasts for too long, the retained bile can damage liver cells and the dilated bile ducts in the liver can compress the blood sinuses, causing liver ischemia, leading to liver cell degeneration and necrosis.

6. Blood circulation disorders such as chronic heart failure cause liver congestion and hypoxia.

7. Damage to liver tissue caused by tumors such as liver cancer.

8. Genetic defects Some liver diseases are hereditary diseases caused by genetic defects. For example, the liver cannot synthesize ceruloplasmin, which causes copper metabolism disorder and hepatolenticular degeneration; the lack of 1-phosphate glucose galactose in the liver cells leads to urine disease.

The above are the common manifestations of abnormal liver function and some of the causes. There are many causes, mainly chemical drugs and some functional abnormalities. Malnutrition can lead to some functional abnormalities, so timely prevention and care must be carried out in daily life. If not treated in time, some toxicity and some diseases may occur. Be sure to go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time.
