Chickenpox is very common in life, and most of the patients are children. When this disease occurs, it is a contagious disease and can be transmitted through the air. If a patient with this disease is treated in time, he or she will have lifelong immunity in the future. But how many days does it take for chickenpox to heal? Does it take a long time to get better? How many days will it take for chickenpox to heal? Because diseases like chickenpox are mainly transmitted through respiratory droplets or contact. When it occurs, it is transmitted through the air and is highly contagious. After a single infection, the patient will be immune for life. After a person is infected with the virus, the disease usually develops after an incubation period of about ten to twenty-five days. Chickenpox develops quickly. A few hours after the fever, a rash will appear all over the body, first on the trunk and head, and gradually spread to the face and limbs. The mink rash is distributed centripetally, mostly on the trunk and head, less on the limbs, and even less on the palms and soles of the feet. At the beginning, the rash is red macules that are not raised above the skin surface. After a few hours, it turns into papules that are raised above the skin surface, and after a few hours, it turns into blisters containing fluid. The herpes is clear at first and shaped like dew, then gradually becomes turbid. The blister wall is brittle and easy to break. After a few days, the blister fluid gradually dries up, the center becomes concave, and then a scab forms. After one or two weeks, the scab falls off completely. The rash appears in batches, so four different skin lesions, namely macules, papules, blisters and scabs, can be seen at the same time, commonly known as "four generations under one roof", which is the characteristic of chickenpox rash. Care for chickenpox: Most children can recover quickly on their own and can take Chinese medicine appropriately, such as Huadusan, Isatis root, etc. When there is a secondary bacterial skin infection, antibiotics should be used for treatment. During the nursing process, pay attention to the following points: clothes and quilts should not be too thick or too many, and sweating due to being too hot will cause the rash to itch. Keep clothes and bedding clean to avoid secondary infection. Cut the child's nails short and keep hands clean to reduce the possibility of scratching the chickenpox and causing infection. Infants and young children can wrap their hands with gauze or wear gloves. If the itching is obvious, 0.25% carbolic calamine lotion or 5% sodium bicarbonate solution can be applied topically, or drugs such as chlorpheniramine and diphenhydramine can be taken orally. If the herpes has broken, apply 1% gentian violet solution; if secondary bacterial infection occurs, use neomycin ointment, etc. After the onset of chickenpox, we must pay more attention to how many days it will take to recover, and during the illness, we must pay more attention to changes in the condition. If we find a rash on our body and our symptoms persist with high fever, vomiting, and convulsions, we must seek medical attention immediately. |
