Symptoms of hypoxic encephalopathy:

1. Mild

The child may be overexcited and irritable, with tremors in the limbs, normal or increased muscle tone, slightly active hugging and sucking reflexes, generally no convulsions, regular breathing, and no pupil changes. Symptoms improve within a day and the prognosis is good.

2. Moderate

The child is drowsy, slow to react, has decreased muscle tone, weakened hugging and sucking reflexes, often has convulsions, may have irregular breathing, and may have constricted pupils. Symptoms are obvious within three days and disappear within about a week. Survivors may have sequelae.

3. Severe illness

The children are unconscious, have loose muscle tone, lost hugging and sucking reflexes, repeated convulsions, irregular breathing, asymmetric pupils, and lost response to light. The mortality rate is high, and most die within one blow. Symptoms for survivors may persist for weeks, leaving sequelae.

Through the above introduction, we have a good understanding of the symptoms of hypoxic encephalopathy. Therefore, in the treatment of such diseases, the method selection cannot be arbitrary. It must be treated according to the patient's disease condition. This will be of great help in stabilizing the patient's disease, improving the disease and preventing it from continuing to develop.
