What is the cause of weakness in the limbs?

What is the cause of weakness in the limbs?

For healthy people, they will not feel weakness in the limbs unless they are particularly tired. However, there are many people around us who experience weakness in the limbs, and many people do not pay enough attention to this situation, thinking that the weakness in the limbs can be relieved with proper rest. In fact, if weakness in the limbs occurs frequently, it may be caused by certain diseases.

Limb weakness caused by certain diseases is generally called pathological limb weakness. This situation requires treatment of the disease that causes it, such as kidney disease, diabetes, etc., in order to solve the limb weakness. So, what exactly is limb weakness?

1. Postpartum. Childbirth can cause great damage to a woman's vitality. When the body is in a weak state, she will naturally feel weakness in her limbs. To improve this phenomenon, she must supplement nutrition, restore vitality, and pay attention to rest. Taking good care of yourself during the confinement period is the first important thing after childbirth. Only if you do it well during the confinement period can your physical strength be restored well. Otherwise, you are likely to suffer from confinement diseases, which have a considerable impact on your health.

2. Diabetes. Diabetic patients usually have abnormal sugar metabolism and electrolyte imbalance, which can lead to fatigue, dry mouth, weakness in the limbs, weight loss, etc. Diabetic patients cannot eat sugary foods, and severe patients need to inject insulin.

3. Patients with decreased renal function. The kidneys are one of the most important organs in the human body. When there is a problem with the kidneys, the first symptom is weakness in the limbs and sweating. Patients with kidney problems cannot eat too salty food, and long-term lack of salt will also aggravate the phenomenon of weakness in the limbs.

4. Patients with endocrine disorders. Endocrine disorders can easily lead to decreased thyroid function, which can cause weakness in the limbs and lead to weight loss.

5. Anemia. Patients with iron deficiency and acute anemia may also experience weakness in their limbs, so they should pay attention to their diet.

6. Carrying weight. Our physical strength is limited. When our limbs carry too much weight, their limbs will become weak. For example, girls can only carry 40 kilograms of weight. Once the weight exceeds this, their physical strength will be overdrawn, causing weakness in their limbs.

7. Vigorous exercise. After running, as long as our physical strength exceeds the load, our limbs will feel weak, but these can be relieved by themselves after rest.

Now that you know what weakness in the limbs is, when it occurs, first check whether it is caused by mental stress and overwork. If so, you only need to take a temporary rest. If not, you need to check for the above-mentioned diseases, and then find the root cause and treat it to solve the problem of weakness in the limbs.
