Neostilbene methylsulfate is a relatively common drug. It is an anticholesterase drug and is often used in gynecology, internal medicine and ENT to treat spastic paralysis, muscle and neurosis, etc. It is often used to treat more severe myasthenia gravis. It can also be used to treat abdominal bloating and urinary retention after surgery. During the treatment process, you must be aware of some precautions. Neostigmine methylsulfate effects and uses Neostigmine methylsulfate is an injectable preparation of neostigmine. It has the same effect as neostigmine bromide. It is commonly used for severe and urgent myasthenia gravis, abdominal distension after surgery, and urinary retention. It can be used for overdose of competitive muscle relaxants and paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. It is also used for movement disorders after brain trauma, paralysis during the recovery period of tuberculous meningitis, poliomyelitis and encephalitis, optic atrophy and neuritis. Other diseases of internal medicine, gynecology and ENT, such as various flaccid paralysis, muscle and neurosis, etc. Identification (1) Take about 1 mg of this product, place it in an evaporating dish, add 1 ml of 20% sodium hydroxide solution and 2 ml of water, evaporate it on a water bath until dry, then heat it at 250°C for about half a minute, add 1 ml of water, dissolve it, cool it, and add 1 ml of diazobenzenesulfonic acid test solution, which will turn red. (2) The infrared absorption spectrum of this product should be consistent with the reference spectrum (spectral set 110). (3) Take about 20 mg of this product, add 1 ml of 20% sodium hydroxide solution and 10 drops of concentrated hydrogen peroxide solution, boil, cool, add dilute hydrochloric acid to make it acidic, and add barium chloride for test. A white precipitate will be generated. Applications:This method uses titration to determine the content of neostigmine methylsulfate in the neostigmine methylsulfate raw material. This method is applicable to the raw material of neostigmine methylsulfate. Principle of the method: The test sample is placed in a Kjeldahl flask, dissolved in water, and then sodium hydroxide test solution is added. Heat and distill. The distillate is introduced into a 2% boric acid solution. Methyl red-bromocresol green mixed indicator solution is added to the distillate. It is titrated with sulfuric acid titrant until the solution changes from blue-green to gray-purple. The titration result is corrected with a blank test. The content of neostigmine methylsulfate is calculated based on the amount of titrant used. |
