Breasts suddenly stopped swelling at 7 weeks of pregnancy

Breasts suddenly stopped swelling at 7 weeks of pregnancy

In fact, although the belly of pregnant women in the early stages of pregnancy is not as protruding as that of pregnant women in the middle or late stages of pregnancy, there will still be some obvious symptoms of pregnancy on the body. Among them, breast pain is a physical phenomenon that pregnant women will experience in the early stages of pregnancy. This type of breast pain will be more severe than the breast pain that occurs before menstruation. The feeling of breast tenderness will last for a period of time and then disappear on its own. Is it normal for the breasts to suddenly stop tenderness during the 7th week of pregnancy?

1. Will breasts become soft in early pregnancy?

It is normal for breasts to gradually become larger and softer in order to meet the needs of postpartum breastfeeding. If you experience breast tenderness, obvious lumps, redness, and swelling, you should pay attention to it.

In the first week or two after conception, your breasts will become larger and softer. Due to the stimulation of pregnancy, the pregnant woman's body will produce a lot of estrogen and progesterone, causing the glands in the breasts to begin to grow, so the breasts will become larger. These hormones also cause the breasts to retain more fluid, so they may become sore and tender.

2. Breast changes in early pregnancy

When the sperm and egg combine to form a fertilized egg and the fertilized egg begins to grow in the uterus, you have successfully conceived. From this time on, your body's estrogen and progesterone levels rise rapidly, which stimulates the development of your breast tissue.

Therefore, in the early stages of pregnancy, you may feel swelling and numbness in your breasts. Some expectant mothers may even feel breast pain, similar to the feeling before menstruation, but more intense. In fact, breast tenderness is a relatively obvious early pregnancy reaction.

Your breasts will also begin to grow larger starting around week 8 of pregnancy. This is because the increased estrogen levels in your body cause the milk ducts to lengthen and branch out. The increase in progesterone levels stimulates the development of mammary glands, which is very important for you because mammary glands are where milk is produced. At the same time, blood flow to your breasts increases, and fatty tissue begins to accumulate around the rapidly growing milk glands and milk ducts. In fact, your breasts will continue to grow throughout your pregnancy, not just in the early stages. It's normal for your bra size to go up a size or two, especially if this is your first pregnancy.

You may also find that your nipples become firmer and more sensitive. At the same time, your areola - the dark circle around your nipple - will gradually increase in size and darken in color. You may not have noticed the tiny bumps on your areola before. But now those bumps may become more noticeable. All of these changes are happening as your breasts prepare to feed your baby.

Therefore, it is normal for the breasts to become soft from hard in the early stages of pregnancy, and the breasts will also grow larger, the areola will darken, and the nipples will become sensitive. These are all normal. Pregnant mothers just need to choose a bra that suits them.
